"Patients should not be told that depression is caused by low serotonin or by a chemical imbalance, and they should not be led to believe that antidepressants work by targeting these unproven abnormalities.

We do not understand what antidepressants are doing to the brain exactly, and giving people this sort of misinformation prevents them from making an informed decision about whether to take antidepressants or not.”

Psychiatrists - continue to use mind-altering drugs that chemically mask the real cause of problems while debilitating people into a state where they become patients for life.

Several studies show that those diagnosed with a "mental illness" were actually suffering from a physical condition. Real doctors, those who choose specialities other than psychiatry, find and treat those conditions.

Psychiatrists, however, continue to use mind-altering drugs that chemically mask the real cause of problems while debilitating people into a state where they become patients for life.

He called for ‘a better way’ to tackle mental health rather than handing out pills.
Prince Harry last night attacked Britain’s pill-popping culture which he said dominates doctors’ approach to depression.
Speaking before the opening of the Invictus Games for wounded veterans, he called for ‘a better way’ to tackle mental health.
He told doctors at a pioneering mental health clinic: ‘It seems we suffer from a culture where a pill will fix everything. There has to be a better way than just giving out anti-depressants.’...

Dr John Read is a professor of clinical psychology at the University of East London and author of several studies into the effects of ECT, which he criticised as ‘unethical’ and ‘unscientific’.

He said: ‘No other branch of medicine sees treatment administered when a patient is actively resisting it. However well-intentioned the doctor might be, it is ethically unacceptable.

‘ECT was developed decades before we had proper ethical standards. If it was introduced today as a new treatment, there’s no way it would be approved.’

PATIENTS in Scotland were forced to receive electric shock treatment against their will almost 1,100 times last year - prompting calls to stop using the 'ethically unacceptable' procedure.

CANNABIS:
It is a huge trigger for mania and schizophrenia. It's completely downplayed by Big Cannabis because we've decided to legalise it in so many States now. And many people, they'll think it's harmless. It's this herb, not realising that the potency has increased like 40 times what it used to be.

It is a huge trigger for mania and schizophrenia. It's completely downplayed by Big Cannabis because we've decided to legalise it in so many States now. And many people, they'll think it's harmless. It's this herb, not realising that the potency has increased like 40 times what it used to be. And it just triggers mania and psychosis. And then the doctors will see them and the doctors will downplay the role of cannabis, and they'll say, "Oh, you have schizophrenia" or "you have bipolar." And then they put them on an antipsychotic. And then this person just ends up on antipsychotics for a really long period of time when really the issue was that they had a psychotic reaction.
