Dear Patient,

Earlier Monday our email system was hacked and spam was sent to patient's of our clinic. Subject line was Court Ruling. Email content was Kindly view Attached Court Ruling Document and a link was attached.

We wish to inform you that this is not a legitimate email, but a phishing scheme. Please do not follow any link. Mark the email as spam to assist your email provider or delete the email.

We are working with our email provider who partner with Microsoft, to stop any further emails being sent.

We wish to reassure you that no patient medical or financial data is affected. We securely store all patient data separately in our secure medical record system and none of that information was accessed or shared.

Unfortunately this was a common type of email hacking known as "email Spoofing". Email spoofing is when an email's identifying fields, such as the From, Return-Path and Reply-To addresses are modified to appear to be from someone other than the actual sender.

We apologise for any confusion or concern this may have caused and thank you for your understanding.

Wynzora has been shown to be an effective treatment for psoriasis of the scalp with results starting at week 1 and improvement continuing over 8 weeks. The London Skin and Hair Clinic is participating in an observational study. If you are suffering from scalp psoriasis you may be interested in taking part in this observational study. Consultations are with Dr Martin Wade who is recognised by all UK health insurers. Consultations are charged, however if you are suitable for this study, you will receive £75 in vouchers that can be redeemed at over 50 UK merchants. Participants must be over 18 years of age, not be on any systemic treatments (such as methotrexate or biologics) and will need to come off any topical treatments one week prior. During the festive period, our clinic will be open for reduced hours. Friday 22nd December from 9:00am to 4:30pm. We will be closed from Saturday 23rd December until Tuesday 26th December. Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th and Friday 29th December we will be open from 9am to 5pm. We will be closed from Saturday 30th December until Monday 1st January. We resume our normal hours from Tuesday 2nd January.
You can still book appointments using our online booking facility.

On Monday 19 September 2022 – the day of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's funeral – the nation gathers to reflect on the long and happy life of Britain's longest-serving monarch.

As a mark of respect, our clinic will close for the day. We will reopen at the usual time on Tuesday 20 September.

We extend our heartfelt sympathy to The Royal Family.

Our clinic has been open all through lockdown, but as businesses around Holborn start to reopen, its wonderful to see friendly faces back in person again.

Such a friendly atmosphere. It was refreshing after so long in lockdown!
