Being liked isn’t the same as being fulfilled.
For years, I thought being the “nice one” was the goal.
The one who never ruffled feathers. The one everyone said was easy to work with.”
But behind the smiles and the praise, I felt… empty.
Because being liked doesn’t always mean being seen.
So many women are taught to make themselves smaller, quieter, more agreeable just to keep the peace.
But true lasting fulfilment doesn’t come from pleasing others while self abandoning . It comes from honouring yourself respecting yourself and choosing yourself first.
The moment I stopped chasing external approval and started chasing inner alignment, was the start of my journey back to me and everything changed.
I found my voice. My confidence. My joy. I began to remember that I mattered.
Lovely, if you’ve been dimming your light to make others comfortable, this is your reminder:
You don’t need to be liked by everyone to live a life you love.
You just need to be you.
