The Massage Shala delivers low-cost community massage inspired by the informal massage rooms of South East Asia. Shala is a sanskrit word meaning “home, abode”.

Massage Shala takes place every Friday from 10am - 1pm in St Margaret's House, Bethnal Green. All massage therapists will be practicing in shared space as is the norm in many countries

Massage is perhaps the oldest and simplest of all medical treatments. In traditional cultures, especially in the East, it is accepted as natural that people of all ages can benefit from regular massage. We welcome you warmly to this home of massage arts.

I recently had a few enquiries about our weekly low cost clinic at St Margaret's House on Fridays.

I'm happy to let you know that this is still happening on a weekly basis, on Fridays 10am-1pm, and tickets can be booked via the St Margaret's website with the following link: https://www.stmargaretshouse.org.uk/fridays-massage-shala

The next clinic runs from Friday 28th February - Friday 4th March.

We are looking forward to welcoming all to our cosy December Massage Shala. There is no better way to spend a Sunday!!

There are a few spots still available, we hope you will be able to join us

Sara LeTurcq, SHIATSU: 12pm, 1pm
Monica Cannazza, ACUPUNCTURE: 11am, 11.45am, 12.30pm, 1.15pm
and EAR ACUPUNCTURE: 2pm

All massage costs £40 for 60 minutes, acupuncture is £30 for 45 minutes, and £10 for ear acupuncture.

Ear acupuncture is a drop in slot, so if anyone has booked at 1pm, and fancies continuing the session, they can join. Or you are free to walk in at 2pm.
