Polynucleotides for neck treatment
Facial harmony and balance is important, but don’t forget the neck!
Here the skin has been retexturised and the lines reduced by skin regeneration using Polynucleotides. These are ultra purified DNA fractions derived from Salmon or Trout, and lead to hydration and collagen stimulation.
Smokers’ lines refer to the fine lines, deep lines, and lip wrinkles that form around the mouth. Whilst not everyone has been a smoker, they are more common in those who have repeatedly pursed their lips, and also due to a loss of collagen and elasticity in the skin around the mouth.
These wrinkles form vertically above the upper lip and can be incredibly difficult to treat, especially with creams, lotions, and other anti-ageing treatments designed to be used at home.
However, there are injectable treatment options which can help:
1. Wrinkle relaxing treatments can help reduce the activity of the muscle causing you to purse your lip, but they won’t remove the line completely
2. Hyaluronic acid skin boosters can help boost the hydration of the skin, and fill in the lines. These may need to be repeated after 6 months.
3. Lip filler itself can help as the effect of ageing is to cause the lip to become thinner and invert, causing loss of the vermillion border and support to the upper “white lip”
4. Polynucleotides are showing great results in this area, as you are able to rextexturise skin, as well as stimulate your own body’s collagen and elasticity. Polynucleotides with hyaluronic acid can also boost the hydration effect of this area. This is Biostimulation or a regeneration procedure as you are asking your own body’s cells to do the work!
💉✨ 2024 is all about embracing your best self, and we are here to help. Here are some of our predicted trends:
1️⃣ Natural Glow Boost 🌟
Say goodbye to filters and hello to a naturally radiant complexion! Injectable treatments like Polynucleotides and skin boosters, and micro-doses of neuromodulators to keep you looking natural. Embrace that effortlessly flawless look!
2️⃣ Contour Confidence 🎨
Sculpt your way to confidence with facial contouring. Strategic use of fillers can accentuate your best features, providing a non-surgical lift and definition. Consider biostimulation fillers such as HARmony Ca and Radiesse in addition to traditional hyaluronic acid fillers, for more skin tightening and lift.
3️⃣ Hand and Neck Rejuvenation 🤲
Don’t let your hands and neck reveal your age. Injectable treatments extend beyond the face to rejuvenate hands and necks, texturising skin and reducing the appearance of wrinkles. Because every detail matters.
4️⃣ Lips restored to balanced proportions
Hydrated, proportionate and defined lips are a timeless trend that’s here to stay. However, the overfilled and poorly injected lips have had their day. 2023 was about dissolving those poorly injected lips, and focusing now more on natural proportions which are in keeping with the balance and symmetry of your face. Lip fillers, carefully tailored to enhance your lip shape and symmetry.

How to Stop Looking Tired
The signs of tiredness can transform the appearance of your face and may not reflect how you really feel. But what makes you look tired? The eyes…
What can be done ?
🌟Botox can be used to treat several symptoms related to tired features, by rejuvenating the skin, and reducing fine lines around the eyes.
🌟Dermal Fillers are a soft tissue hyaluronic acid based filler that are injected into the skin to soften fine lines, contour features and add structural support. Dermal fillers can be injected into the tear trough area directly. This is because the tear trough has very little support except for muscle and bone, so the hollow appearance can be rejuvenated and careful application of dermal filler can be very effective in the correct circumstances. It is always better to have an in-person assessment to understand your suitability to this treatment.
🌟Medical grade skincare. Tiredness can result in dull skin. This is because an exhausted body cannot function as well as a well rested body and this extends to immune function and skin health.
🌟Polynucleotides are fast becoming an important tool in facial aesthetics, particularly for areas that need stimulation. What are polynucleotides?
Polynucleotides are DNA fragments (usually extracted from salmon), that can bio-stimulate positive changes in the skin. What this means is that skin gets stimulated to turnover quicker, produce elastin, reduce fine lines, improve micro-circulation, reduce dark circles, plump the skin and reduce hollowness under the eyes. This is particularly important in the under-eye area, as dermal fillers may not be suitable for everyone, so this provides another tool to help the delicate skin in the area.
At London City Skin Clinic, we can create a bespoke treatment plan according to your needs. Dr. Robby Bajaj is highly experienced in developing Advanced Skin Care and non-surgical injectable programmes that cater to your skin, and this goes beyond the application of high quality cosmetics to hide your skin concerns.
Want to achieve your desired look without Surgery?
💉 Are you thinking of aesthetic improvements without going under the knife? Whilst surgical procedures offer dramatic transformations, there are non-surgical options that can help you achieve noticeable enhancements! (And with less downtime)
✨ Injectables like Botox and dermal fillers are your secret weapons for reducing wrinkles and adding volume to your face, whilst also achieving structure, shape and contour.
Don’t underestimate how in the right hands you may look refreshed and still look natural!
Remember, maintenance is key to sustain those fabulous results.
Laser treatments can help address skin concerns, such as acne scars or persistent pigmentation issues or skin resurfacing.
Enhance with non-surgical skin tightening procedures. By stimulating collagen production through radiofrequency or ultrasound treatments, you can tighten your skin and combat mild sagging. Remember, these methods may not provide the same level of improvement as surgical procedures for more extensive rejuvenation, particularly if you have alot of loose or excess skin in the lower face and neck.
👉 If you're ready to explore non-surgical options, it's crucial to consult with a qualified medical professional.
At London City Skin Clinic, we assess your unique needs and guide you toward the best treatment options tailored to your goals. It’s key for us to understand what you want and to give you the honest opinion that can achieve it.

If you’re seeking the effects of aesthetic treatments, then Dermal Fillers and Botox could be the way to go. These procedures are known for improving facial structure and volume, maintaining the smooth texture of your skin and reducing the appearance of facial imperfections such as lines and wrinkles.
Here at London City Skin Clinic, we have outlined the key differences between Botox and Dermal Fillers to help you make a more informed decision about whether one, or both these aesthetic treatments are for you.
Botox
What is Botox?
Botox is a purified version of the botulinum toxin. As a treatment, it is designed to block nerve signals to a muscle. As a result, the muscles will move less, thus reducing the appearance of wrinkles and relaxed looking appearance. It is often used as a treatment to soften lines, and can also prevent deep lines from forming.
Botox is most often used on the upper face, for the forehead and frown, but also around the eyes and the areas surrounding the mouth. Also, because of its relaxing properties, it has been known to help alleviate the symptoms of jaw grinding, chronic headaches, migraines and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating).
Botox is prescription-only treatment and must be prescribed for a patient by a medically qualified practitioner.
What are Dermal Fillers?
Dermal Fillers are a form of soft tissue filler containing hyaluronic acid, that is injected into the skin to fill in facial wrinkles, for contouring and structural support. They are most commonly used as an anti-ageing treatment but can also be used to soften skin folds, enhance plumpness to give a fuller look to the lips, and can define jawline, cheekbones and the chin. These fillers can also be used for areas of skin such as the hollow shadows under your eyes. They are further used to restore lost volume in hands, or even for skin boosting.
Dermal Fillers currently don’t require a prescription to be administered, although it is recommended you seek an experienced medical practitioner, as we believe these treatments should be carried out only by those who understand dermal fillers and how to manage any potential complications.
