Curious about Reflexology?

Want to find out about professional reflexology training?

Reflexology is both a science and an art—a science because it is based on physiological and neurological study, and an art because much depends on how skilfully the therapist applies their knowledge.

Proper training goes far beyond learning a routine; it cultivates a deeper understanding of the body’s physiological processes while refining tactile sensitivity and clinical awareness, producing confident and successful reflexologists. Through the transmission of precise, focused techniques honed over decades of practice and research, our graduates connect to a unique lineage, a strong foundation that serves as an anchor of integrity and distinction. They are guided to blend critical thinking with therapeutic intuition, alongside focused effective reflexology techniques.

The Practitioner Diploma in Clinical Reflexology starts on 11th April 2026 in London. Reflexology Academy is the sole provider of this unique comprehensive professional training. With only one annual intake and limited spaces, this course delivers a bespoke learning experience. Our diploma is accredited by Complementary Health Professionals

While the learning is intensive, it’s also great fun—making the journey both rewarding and life-changing. For many, this course is more than the foundation for a new career; it’s a deeply personal and positive transformation.

Train with Hagar Basis and benefit from her 36 years in clinical reflexology practice and education. Learn contemporary and modern approaches within our integrative embodied anatomy A&P programme with Melissa Softley.

Sanyinjiao (三陰交), which translates to “Three Yin Intersection” [Acupuncture point Spleen 6 ] can be used very successfully in reflexology practice. I work it in a specific bimanual technique that I have developed and teach in my workshops and diploma training.
I love the chart below , which shows clearly how to measure.

It lies within the Ingham ‘chronic’ channel reflex area of PURS - prostate /Uterus/ Re**um & Sciatic. Working the whole reflex area as well as isolating Spleen 6 with the bimanual technique is excellent especially for the treatment of women’s health and high inflammation.
