Love Play Grow Do

Love Play Grow Do I have been practicing Yoga for about 17 years and began to practice Anusara Yoga and learn about Tantric Philosophy in 2006.

Play Grow Do began in 2010 and established a community group in 2024 with the aim of supporting the delivery of the grassroots project Communi-tea, focusing on creative health, wellbeing, and social connection for those most vulnerable to isolation. For the past 5 years my study and practice has got deeper and my decision to train as a teacher proved challenging and empowering. I worked for years

as a freelance artist using film and photography to engage with people and document the exchange. These days I get deep satisfaction from connection with the earth from nurturing plants (trees, flowers and vegetables) and gardening work in the community, private clients and on my own allotment in East London. I am passionate and devoted to developing community projects particularly in areas and communities where there is not enough.

PRACTICE FOR PEACE
Extended practice this weekend!
Saturday 21 June 2025
9:30-11am
Auditorium -

This week we practice on the summer solstice, this class has been extended to give us time for rest. There is ALOT of energy this time of year!
How do you manage the long days of light? There is a massive contrast with some dark times we are living through happening all over the world but specifically for the last 600+ (or 75 years) in Palestine.
This class as part of bigger fundraising effort from will donate all proceeds to funds that are being collected for Camp Al-Jawad.
The need in Gaza is urgent and immediate!

Collectively we are stronger, louder and wiser.
Join us for this special practice to mark the longest day and to offer what we can in support of others.
Limited spaces available due to bolster allocation :-) booking link in profile.
Thank you to for lighting the way on this path of action.

Second Thursday of the month is our singalong! 2pm-4:30pm
Tomorrow approximately we have a summer themed song list.
Led by the experts and we generally have a riot! Learn singing techniques, strengthen your voice and some new words to songs you love.
Thanks to for these beautiful photos that capture our session last year.

Good Shepherd Studios
15a Davies Lane E11 3DR

“Where Olive Trees Weep takes a deep look at the Palestinian experience through the eyes of those who live it.” - Meg McConahey

The film gives background to the current crisis in Israel/Palestine and brings to light the lives of people we met on our 2022 journey in the occupied West Bank. Their universally human stories speak of intergenerational pain, trauma and resilience

The amazing on-site cafe will be open for the duration of the event serving Iftar (light refreshments and non-alcoholic drinks).
