Yesterday, blew in from the East my mystic guru Shaf, who's been feeling sharp back and quadricep pains for years. Overall, I've been working hands-on his injuries and pains for some 4 years at CCS Sports clinic. True, there are some awkward moments treating him when it seemed agony got the worst of him. After pressing his Acupoints very hard using Chinese TCM & Shiatsu, most of his pains reduced - but that was not an easy process to ease his suffering. Yet, he felt much better and more flexible after treatment, capping it off with a smile.

I'm glad to treat patients to relieve their pains, and lead them towards the healing path of less Chinese TCM & Shiatsu and grief using Chinese TCM & Shiatsu. So, Shaf will come back again for treatment after one year. I'll be happy to work hands-on him and other patients who are feeling pain at Ccs Sports clinic. Drop in - it's my duty to help out, and I've been assisting injured people hands-on for 24 years.

So yesterday, when it came to me treating him for Sciatica back pains, that was pretty intense pressing his Acupoints. Bad news, it's initially a very painful process and it took 4 or 5 treatments. Good news is that the pains subsided completely, depending on how bad he was suffering initially. Since then, he keeps off the NHS Painkiller drugs, and comes to me to get "tweaked" back on the healing path when any pains come.
And he comes for treatment, now and then, for 3 years. I'm working hands-on at Charing Cross Hospital in Ccs Sports clinic Hammersmith W6 8LH on Mon, Wed and Friday appointments. Come along.

I'm glad to serve the local community in CCS. When a patient in agony in (say) their back, shoulder, neck or leg comes - it's not obvious what corrective actions are needed. So, while most people go down the usual GPs, Physios and painkillers route - more people are coming to me to enact real improvements in their health.
I start my Chinese TCM examination from abdominal and internal organ manual investigations before I set work hands-on the body Acupoints. There's more Shiatsu acupressure usually needed down the line; but when patients flex limbs and walk better, it's a professional joy. As Jules the Foodie felt as we reduced her back, hips, shoulder and foot pains. More patients in pain to attend to within LBHF community.

Here is Ali looking more radiant and less in pain, after years of pain and suffering - now taking treatment from me in CCS Sports Hammersmith. Instead of drugs and surgery, I use TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) and Shiatsu finger pressure to find and release "stuck" blood and pain along the Acupoints. Now, while Western drugs and surgery seek to stop pain symptoms, your nerves and blood circulation can still remain jammed in pain after your GP doctor's painkiller drugs.
TCM pressure on meridians or Acupoints channel blood and energy better through the body, treating your illnesses and pains at root source. Pressing "Acupoints" help the patient's bloodflow and release stuck pain. So, if your pains remain "blocked", causing you illness without getting better, come along and see how TCM-Shiatsu works on your body.

SO, it's one and half years later reunited again in CCS and Jayne looks in better health now. Especially after my Shiatsu treatment of her aching body in CCS Hammersmith. Too much painting, sanding and DIY for her to do in Brackenbury! But now, breathing, walking and relatively pain-free, so life is good!

What are Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) hands-on healing methods? “Acupuncture” inserts thin needles on Acupoints to stimulate the flow of body energy Qi. Chinese Tui Na massage (and its offshoot “Shiatsu”) moves body energy and blood flow much deeper through channels or “meridians”. Originally trained in acupuncture 24 years ago, I found it narrow-based on treating some body injuries and pains. A wider “Whole-Body” or Holistic approach is needed to treat serious body injury, mental fatigue or internal body imbalance.

Get away from high-publicity drugs or surgery that do not address root causes. Shiatsu is unlike a skin surface shallow massage, I treat the deep source of pain through intense body joint movement. From long-standing injuries, back pains, sciatica to migraines – I treat bad sleep, indigestion and deep-rooted emotional problems too. Restore your optimal musculo-skeletal range of motion without the pain, and regain nervous system balance to think and perform better.

Diabetes is a health worry globally, growing from 10% adults in 2010 to about 12.5% (one in eight) by 2040. It may even include you. These rises some say come from the rise of sugar and "junk food" consumption, with aging populations in most countries. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) sees diabetes, or "Xiao Ke" disease, stemming from imbalances in the Stomach, Liver, Kidney and Large Intestine - the TCM organs that I work with daily in my patients.
Chinese TCM views diabetes as a big imbalance with symptoms like thirst, excess urination, overweight, tiredness, and sugar cravings. TCM works on these imbalances, to restore body harmony and keep proper blood sugar levels. I apply Acupressure (Shiatsu) on acupoints to regulate Qi energy flow, opening "blocked" organ meridians for blood and Qi energy flows. TCM's holistic medical approach of a balanced diet, regular physical exercise and stress management also help in combating diabetes. Try TCM out.

I have a medical duty to the local community for treating illnesses, aches and other injuries. I also treat professional executives and elite athletes who work high-pressure jobs with intense travel and business schedules. I was pleased to treat Mark Woodforde, a 17-time Grand Slam tennis champion winning $8.5m total prize money, during a recent Wimbledon season. His letter to me I show with his kind permission.

When I get asked what I do in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), I usually reply that I balance out the body's internal organs to regain health. These are linked by meridians or networks channeling blood and energy (Qi) flowing throughout the body, and I diagnose and treat illnesses by pressing "Acupoints" along the meridians help the patient. You will hear me or other TCM practitioners say your bloodflow or energy is "blocked" causing you pains and illness along the body soft tissue like the Sciatic nerve (pictured in red).
A modern example of Acupressure or Shiatsu usage of my fingers releases "stuck" Sciatic nerves and soft tissue to give pain relief. Think of it as relieving pain when the Sciatic nerve or Hot Dog sausage is trapped between the hard bun of bone and rigid muscle.
It is interesting to see me releasing severe back pains like Sciatica, using a culinary example. But when Western drugs and surgery fail to help the patient - basic TCM medicine can be better healing at times than modern technology and drugs. Stop pain when your nerves get squeezed in a sausage!

"What's going on afoot" generally means that something is happening, or at least is in progress somehow. When you're looking at a foot, leg or back it's likely that the degree of human suffering is not visible. When a patient in intense agony in their leg, back, shoulder, neck comes - it's not immediately obvious what remedial actions are needed. She had Naproxen, Ibuprofen, Codeine and half a dozen painkillers already. But really, she's suffering lack of sleep/ appetite and some debilitating painful effects 3months on - with little improvement in sight.
Starting my Chinese TCM examination often involves a large degree of abdominal and internal organ investigation seeing damage in Lung and Intestines; before I set work on the body Acupoints. I'd say, "actions are afoot" as I correct the 40mm difference in leg lengths to 3mm difference now. There's still more Shiatsu acupressure needed next week; but if she can sleep and move her shoulders and back better, and reduce her frozen shoulder / Sciatica pains - that's a big health gain for now.

Many doctors and physios now “see” their patients remotely on ZOOM PC or iPhone meetings, then give painkiller drugs for (say) agonizing backache. This may not work as they miss the true cause of the aches. This week I see my patient, face-to-face, then lie them on the plinth. Why they suffer painful bad neck, shoulders, back, legs and hips can be that they are lop-sided in posture. Patients need to straighten out their spines and as attached limbs make them lean to one side, something they may not be aware all their lives.
Here a sideways slant created spinal, back and hip pains that go back years. Using hands-on Chinese TCM / Shiatsu on their body acupoints, I do my best to "straighten out" slanted spines all the time. This reduces the pain and the slanted pressure on one side. Over following weeks, I get them less lop-sided so their posture can return to the vertical and suffer less daily pain.

When any patient comes to me suffering bad back pains or Sciatica, I tell them that I will address their aches as i have done for the past 25 years. Chinese TCM treatment with Shiatsu can find me working crouched down detecting and defusing sources of agony along his acupoints. Acupoints "stuck", or muscles locked in pain, need releasing with body manipulation and Acupressure work. Pressing the acupoints succeeds in relieving his pains, but it can be a long and intensive process. Chinese TCM and Shiatsu treatment may not be for everyone, but i find it generally succeeds releasing a lot of musculo-skeletal pains. Live pain-free, and not painful.
