A Sense of Movement.
We all need movement to keep fit. But have you asked yourself what “fitness” really means? What do you want to be fit for? A race? To attract partners? To feel good? No doubt. But recently people have started to question the push hard, gym-tastic lifestyle that has become so popular over the last 20 or 30 years. During that time there has been an intrepid band of entrepreneurs investigating the inner reaches of the nervous system and applying the science of neuro-adaption to people’s everyday lives as well as transforming the practice of countless artists, dancers, musicians and athletes. It’s called the Feldenkrais Method.
I teach Feldenkrais via what I call A Sense of Movement because it is not just moving that is important, it is how you use that movement to improve your brain and your body that is going to be vital to your long-term health. So, whether you are fit but are wondering what it’s all about or in chronic pain and want a solution to get back to some sort of normal life, please have a browse of the posts here and if you like what you see you can travel on over to my website and get involved: www.asenseofmovement.com
