Bread made from split peas. No flours, just plants.
It sounds a bit odd, I know… but it actually works.
This loaf is made from green split peas blended into a batter and baked, and the result is a dense, satisfying bread that’s naturally rich in fibre and plant protein.
Why I like recipes like this:
They keep you fuller for longer
They support stable blood sugar
They’re made from very simple ingredients
It’s great toasted but butter, avocado, eggs and even with smoked salmon.
