Your emotions don’t just exist in the moment—they leave imprints (emotional echos) in your neural pathways and energy field. So, when a feelings linger it’s because you haven't yet resolved the emotional echo that surrounds that feeling and your 'Error Detector' is giving you signals so you can keep youself safe.

✨ Example: A single criticism can often linger longer than ten compliments? Why? We are primed to remember when bad things have happened so that we can remember to not repeat them. You your survival brain magnifies those feelings and memories which shift your energetic field off kilter making it easier to go back and experience those feelings again. The same happens when you doubt yourself in pregnancy—maybe even more so, as pregnancy hormones often amplify the emotional echo in your nervous system and neural memory, making it harder to shift those 'sticky' feelings. .
