What a year!!!

London, you gave me so much more than I could’ve imagined 🇬🇧💫
Incredible work opportunities, the best gym family and team (always fun, always supportive 🏋️‍♀️🔥), amazing clients who trusted me with their journey, and friends who truly felt like home.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, encouraged me, laughed with me, trained with me, danced with me — and especially those who helped me pack up my life and make the big move to Canada 🇨🇦❄️🤍
Colder, snowier… but closer to family and filled with new possibilities.

I’ll forever miss my London friends and my Zouk dance community 💃✨
That last dance before leaving meant everything — especially after being injured and missing my birthday dance. Such a full-circle moment 🫶

This year taught me gratitude, resilience, and trust in the process.
Now I’m giving myself more space, more time, and more intention as I work toward my goals, travel more, and continue building my business.

It can start as a fitness goal… and become a lifestyle shift you never expected.

I started going to the gym to change my body…
but God used it to change my entire life.

Bodyweight training will humble you… in the BEST way.

Pull-ups, push-ups, hand walks, handstands — these are the movements most people skip, but they’re the ones that build real strength, control, and confidence.

Why they matter:

• They teach you how to move your own body, not just machines
• They build shoulder + core stability you need for everyday life
• They improve balance, posture, and total-body coordination
• They create a stronger foundation for ALL your lifts

And the best part? You can start at any level.
Begin with:

• Band-assisted pull-ups
• Elevated or handle push-ups
• Wall-supported handstands
• Slow + controlled hand walks

Small steps → big progress. You just have to start.

Upper body basics 👇

If you want stronger arms, shoulders, posture, and core… these 3 moves are the foundation.

1️⃣ Pull-Ups
(I’m using a lighter resistance band here)

Today I did 4–5 reps for 10 sets, resting 2 minutes between.
Pull-ups build incredible back strength, improve posture, and make your whole upper body look tighter and more athletic.

Beginner tips:
• Use a band for support (lighter band = harder, heavier band = easier)
• Start with 2–3 reps per set
• Focus on slow lowering—this builds strength fast

2️⃣ Push-Ups
(still rebuilding after my elbow fracture)

Handles or elevation (a bench or step) make it easier to keep your body straight like a plank.
Push-ups train chest, triceps, shoulders, and core all at once.

Beginner tips:
• Elevate your hands to reduce load
• Keep your ribs tucked + body in one line
• Quality > quantity

3️⃣ Handstands
Fun, humbling, and amazing for shoulder stability + core control.

You don’t have to hold one forever—just practicing the setup builds strength.

Beginner tips:
• Start with wall support
• Focus on stacking wrists–shoulders–hips
• Kick up with control, not momentum

These three bodyweight moves make your upper body stronger, more functional, and more confident—no machines needed.

3 Mistakes You’re Making in Your Morning Routine ☀️

If your mornings feel off — low energy, bloating, or brain fog — these small shifts make a huge difference.

💧 1️⃣ Skipping hydration:

Your body loses fluids overnight. Starting with lemon water hydrates, supports digestion, and gives a natural energy lift before caffeine.

☕ 2️⃣ Coffee before water:

Coffee too soon can spike cortisol and leave you jittery. Sip water first, then enjoy your latte for sustained energy — it adds protein, calcium, and B vitamins from the milk.

🍳 3️⃣ Under-fueling breakfast:

Your body needs fuel, not just caffeine.

My go-to:

2 scrambled eggs on homemade sourdough toast with 1 tsp butter — about 435 calories of balanced nutrition:

→ Protein: ~24g (for muscle repair + fullness)
→ Carbs: ~36g (for steady energy)
→ Fats: ~19g (for hormone + brain health)

Nutrient highlights:

🥚 Choline, iron & B12 from eggs for focus + energy

🥛 Calcium & vitamin D from milk for bone strength

🌾 Fermented sourdough supports gut health & digestion

✨ To level it up:

• Add spinach or tomatoes for antioxidants + fiber

• Sprinkle chia or h**p for omega-3s

• Use grass-fed butter or olive oil for extra vitamins

• Finish with a few deep breaths before eating — it helps your body digest & absorb nutrients better

This isn’t about a “perfect” morning. It’s about creating balance — inside and out. 🌿
