Grief is like tinnitus ~ a constant drone in the background that can be drowned out with distraction and other noise … but a lot of times it rings too loud & prominent to ignore and becomes deafening.
Rather than try to fight it, maybe it’s best to sit with it… embrace it… reframe that intensity into intention….
What’s our intention? How can we lighten this load and filter out unnecessary noise.. how can we live with this more easily … how can we honour their memory & be kinder to ourselves…
Sometimes it’s so hard & good to have a cry ❤️
