No detox. No punishment. Just this šš»
Last weekend we went to London to celebrate Deanās birthday. Letās just say no f*cks were given & I ate & drank exactly what I wanted. As it should be!
After an indulgent weekend, the instinct is usually to panic.
Cut calories.
Add loads of cardio.
Try to undo the damage & āsweat it outā
But Iāve learnt that only makes the whole process harder.
Instead, I just go straight back to my usual routine.
- Lifting weights 5 times
- Hitting my protein target daily
- Walking 70k steps across the week
- Back to my usual meals (nothing extreme)
- 2-3 litres of water daily
- Early nights to ensure a minimum of 7 hours sleep
Getting back on track shouldnāt feel like punishment.
It should just feel like returning to structure.
Structure beats punishment every time.
