Heathlands Care Home is a modern purpose built Care Home for the elderly frail and people with Dementia. It is situated in a pleasant residential area of Chingford and easily accessible by road and Public transport. Heathlands provides both nursing and residential as well as end of life care. The home has built a highly enviable reputation and regarded as a beacon at the forefront of treating people with Dementia, it is also registered with the Gold Standards Framework for delivering the highest standard of end of life care. At Heathlands we have forged strong partnerships with local service providers, families and friends to deliver positive outcomes for our residents. Specialist Unit

Our specialist unit is a complex behaviour suite, run by dedicated and experienced staff. Staff aim to provide individualised person centered care to all residents. There is a warm friendly environment and strong relationships are formed between Residents, Relatives and Care Staff. Relatives are strongly encouraged to be involved in the care planning of their loved ones. Our complex behaviour suite consists of 15 en suite bedrooms, designed to ensure safety is key. The complex behaviour suite is also equipped with a communal lounge where social activities take place, a dining area and kitchenette, a sensory room and de-escalation Room. Services & Facilities

Joan’s Donkey Dream Come True 🫏

Joan has sponsored a donkey through The Donkey Sanctuary for over 10 years and always dreamed of meeting one in real life.

That wish came true when Jack and Des from Performing Pets visited Heathlands with their lovely donkey, Jack.

Joan’s smile said it all as she stroked him and fed him a carrot. A truly special and emotional moment for everyone💛

🌍 Black History Month at Heathlands (6th–12th October)

We celebrated Black History Month with a wonderful week of activities ✨

Residents enjoyed Caribbean music and food, colourful art sessions with Creative Minds, a Bob Marley film screening and learning about the inspiring life of Mary Seacole 🎶

We hosted a joyful Pyjama Day Bingo to support the Make-A-Wish Foundation 💙

Residents and staff had a fantastic time in comfy PJs or non-uniform, and together we raised £19.30 to help make dreams come true for children with critical illnesses ✨
