💉Temple filler correction ✨

Not all filler treatments settle well — and sometimes they simply aren’t placed correctly.
👩🏼‍⚕️My colleague came to me concerned about the appearance of her temples after receiving temple filler elsewhere just 4 weeks earlier. Instead of creating a smooth, natural contour, the filler had produced an unnatural shape and heaviness, causing the veins in the area to appear distended and swollen.
💉After assessing the product and placement, we recommended dissolving the filler using hyaluronidase to safely break down the product and restore the natural anatomy of the temple

Why might filler need to be dissolved?
• Filler placed too superficially
• Incorrect product used for the area
• Migration or poor placement
• An unnatural or heavy appearance
👩🏼‍⚕️Dissolving allows us to safely reset the area before considering any future treatment.
💆🏼‍♀️It’s important to remember that experiences like this shouldn’t put you off dermal filler. When performed with the correct product, technique, and a strong understanding of anatomy, filler can create beautiful, natural-looking results.
⌛️ Just 20 minutes after treatment, the filler had been safely dissolved and the temple returned to its natural appearance.
After allowing two weeks for the area to fully settle, in line with safety protocols, Katie was then able to carefully treat the temples again, restoring volume and contour with safe placement and a much more natural result.
At Allysun Aesthetics, our priority is always natural, balanced results and patient safety. Sometimes the best step forward is taking a step back first.
