Volunteering in the UK was worth an incredible £18 BILLION in 2024 🙌

That’s the power of people giving their time to make a difference. But while this number is inspiring, smaller, independent charities like Richard House don’t always feel the benefit.

As a local children’s hospice, we rely on the generosity of volunteers to help us care for children with life-limiting conditions and support their families. From helping in our gardens and supporting events, to lending a hand at the hospice itself, every hour makes an impact.

Moments of creativity, connection, and community at our latest mum's group! 😍

Last week, our amazing mums enjoyed a relaxing canvas painting session led by the talented Ayesha Ariff, paired with a delicious cheese tasting and refreshing mocktails 🍹🧀

We were especially thrilled to welcome three new mums to the group, all of whom shared how welcomed and supported they felt. They loved connecting with others who understand their journey and have already said they’ll definitely be back 💙
