two easy open-sandwich options:
1. turkey + sauerkraut + fermented cranberry sauce on sourdough
2. brie + fermented cranberry sauce + walnuts & seeds on sourdough

DIY fermented cranberry sauce:
gently prick 300g cranberries → add to a 500ml jar with 2cm sliced ginger, juice of 1 orange + 1 cinnamon stick → cover with 600g raw honey and stir → lid on, leave at room temp (out of sunlight) 2–4 weeks (it’s delish anytime).

boxing day walk or everyday walk - your gut is gonna love it. here’s why … 👀

your gut LOVES movement. 🚶‍♂️
studies have shown when you get your blood pumping, we see:

-an increase in beneficial gut bacteria

-as well as increased beneficial short-chain fatty acids (anti-inflammatory metabolites)

-gut motility can be improved aka. helping everything move along nicely in there

-exercise has also been linked with improved mood

-AND bonus points for getting out in nature, also linked to improved mood and microbial diversity

the key? keep it consistent, to keep seeing benefits, keep moving and grooving. 🦠🫶
