What are gong baths?
Gong baths are a type of inactive meditation, where you “bathe” in the healing vibrations of sound.
Using sound as a form of healing dates back to ancient cultures. Records of using gongs have surfaced from as early as ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman times.
“Gongs have been used as shamanic healing tools, celebratory instruments, and a method of communication for thousands of years.
Evidence suggests that gong making was known as early as 4,000 B.C. and ancient alchemy sources put the gong as far back as 16,000 B.C.”
A gong bath, or gong meditation, is a form of sound healing designed to offer:
- relaxation
- emotional release
- pain relief
During a gong bath, participants typically lie down and get comfortable with blankets and pillows. (Bring your own blanket and pillows if you wish)
Participants are invited to passively soak up the benefits of the sound.

📿What is Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga is a current of yoga that has its origins in the Vedic texts, in particular in the Advaita Vedanta tradition. Together with Hatha, Raja, Laya and Mantra yoga it is part of the Ta***ic Yoga movement.

It is a well-balanced practice of asanas, breathing exercises (Pranayama), spinal strengthening (Kriya), meditation and mantra (chanting), designed to reduce stress and stimulate vital energy and creativity.
The goal of this type of yoga is to unblock the body and mind through the mobilization of the energy that resides at the base of our spine, called Kundalini.

Kundal is the Sanskrit term that translates as “lock of the beloved” while ini is the feminine connotation of this energy.

Kundalini energy is therefore represented as a snake coiled three times on itself and lying dormant at the base of the spine.

This type of yoga aims, like the others, at the full spiritual realisation using targeted work on energy in its feminine aspect as a vehicle.

Each Kundalini yoga class will be different from the others, ranging from very physical and dynamic ones in which even complex asanas are developed, to classes in which the practice is almost totally meditative.

An essential element of each lesson will be the recitation of a mantra aimed at purification, healing or stimulation of a particular energy center.

The classes are also chosen based on the periods of the year, the seasons and the phases of the moon, to promote harmonization of the person with the cosmic energies.

In this way, over the course of a year, you find yourself working on every part of the body, both physically and energetically, and constant practice can lead to important physical and spiritual changes and show the benefits in its entirety

🌟 Our Wednesday 60’ Kundalini Yoga class in is now on Tuesdays from 5:25pm with the addition of the Gong Bath for relaxation!

🌟NEW! At 4pm on Tuesdays- Chair yoga!

⏰ As usual 7-8AM, from Tuesday to Friday, the Online 8DAY kundalini yoga- this week, tomorrow we begin with our last round of the breath of JOY!
