Connect Midwifery Care At CONNECT Midwifery Care, we provide full pregnancy and postnatal care, childbirth preparation clas Pregnancy and childbirth are a natural biological function.

Both have the potential to be an amazingly positive, empowering and transformative experience for the parents to be when care is given with them having fully informed choices. Traditionally, women and families in Barbados (and worldwide) have been cared for during pregnancy, birth and postnataly by midwives. This method of care for normal healthy pregnant women has been proven safe and the most ideal for a positive outcome and the best health of nations worldwide. As your midwife, I place emphasis on building a relationship of mutual trust with you which is strengthened throughout the prenatal period; this ensures heightened confidence levels in the mother (and father) who then feel empowered to achieve a gentle homebirth/waterbirth and breastfeeding success.

As a midwife, being 'with woman' means I get the privilege of witnessing and holding space for the power of women , everyday.

In me, they've inspired a desire to serve and support women and families in the role of 'Midwife'.
And so its paid forward, as strong women use sisterhood to love and support each other day after week after month after year after generation.💜
