We are seeking a motivated, friendly and enthusiastic individual to join our team.

The role is for a full time Pharmacy Dispenser to work in our pharmacy on Pitshanger Lane.
This is a permanent position and we are seeking candidates looking for a long term position and a career with the company.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in a relatively busy retail pharmacy but training can be provided if needed, a passion for customer care and service. We operate a number of private services so good customer service skills are a must.

Essential requirements:

- Fluent spoken and written English

- Able to promote pharmacy services

- Reliable and punctual

- Able to work under pressure and as a part of a team

- Motivated and hard working

- Understanding of confidential and sensitive issues

- Able to answer telephone queries

Duties include:

- Dispensing prescriptions, preparation and labelling of medicines

- Stock control and management - ordering via a number of wholesalers, receiving and checking deliveries, reporting any discrepancies

- Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers

- Cash handling and till operation

- Answering the phone and taking bookings

- Management of dosset patients

- Keeping the store tidy and clean and following store procedures

- Data entry of private services.

It has become very obvious to anyone local what a sterling job Temple Pharmacy has been doing of rolling out the Covid-19 vaccination programme along with their tireless army of volunteers, two of whom are pictured here.

Dinesh and Sachin, Pharmacists at Temple Pharmacy invite the Pitshanger traders and their staff over the age of 30 years to contact them so that they can put you on their spare doses list. All at Temple Pharmacy, are keen to make Pitshanger Lane as safe as possible.

Please collect your FREE! Covid testing kits (pack of 7 tests) from Temple Pharmacy if you or your partner go out to work or have children in school. You need to test the children and yourselves twice a week. Please pass this message to your friends and family.

We are so overwhelmed with telephone enquires about the covid vaccine so please do not call the pharmacy for any of the following queries.
Please note that we:
* Only provide the AstraZeneca Oxford vaccine
* We have a very long waitlist for spare doses to use at the end of the day so have stopped taking anymore names
* You cannot change your appointment by calling us - it has to be done on the national booking system or by calling 119
* you cannot have your second dose any earlier than what you have been booked for

The pharmacy telephone number should only be used for pharmacy related queries and no covid related questions will be answered on the phone.

We hope you understand.
