This free beginner-friendly workshop offers a gentle introduction to Sanskrit, focusing on reading and pronouncing simple verses from the Bhagavad Gita. Students will learn basic Sanskrit grammar, pronunciation rules, and common vocabulary used in the Gita. Through guided practice, participants will build confidence in reading Devanagari script and chanting select verses with correct intonation. No prior knowledge of Sanskrit is required—just a curiosity for language and a love for spiritual texts.

Facilitated by HG Balaram Kripa Das holds an Acharya degree (MA) in Sanskrit Navya Vyakaran. He has qualified UGC NET in Sanskrit traditional. He teaches Sanskrit and Srimad bhagavatam online and offline. Taught Sanskrit and Gita more than 10K students within 42 countries online. Designed 4 levels Sanskrit Speaking Course.

Gita Life

The Bhagavad Gita is a theological and philosophical classic. In 700 succinct verses, it summarises the conclusions of the Vedas, the ancient scriptures written approximately 5000 years ago in the Sanskrit language. It covers topics ranging from religion to relationships, science to sociology, leadership to lifestyle management: the keys to all aspects of life, the universe, and everything. In every generation, over thousands of years, it has provided unceasing inspiration to thinkers, leaders, and spiritualists alike.
