Shine TV is looking for Casting Juniors, Researchers and Assistant Producers for a returning BBC1 cooking competition from mid June to September 2025.
A busy and varied role, we are looking for people who are enthusiastic and passionate about casting contributors, an interest in food is a bonus. The candidate must have casting experience on their CV.

The role will be based in Birmingham and candidates should live within one hour of our studio in Digbeth.

Shine TV is looking for a Midlands based Production Manager from mid June to end of December 2025 for MasterChef which has relocated to Birmingham.

The candidate must have a can-do attitude and be able to adapt to the evolving needs of a fast-moving production, both in studio and on location.

• Experience in planning & organising multiple logistics involved in location shoots, including abroad.
• Able to work collaboratively with editorial to help develop dynamic shoots.
• Must have experience at managing multiple departments within the production and overseeing the welfare of a large, diverse team.
• Be competent at overseeing the Health & Safety across all aspects of filming and confident in creating Risk Assessments.
• Must be able to manage budgets & the cost manager effectively, experience using PMI is preferable but not essential.
• Confident at dealing with talent and managing their day to day logistics.
• Overseeing and creating contracts for filming teams and crew.
• Must be efficient at completing Albert submissions and ensuring the production team are logging all relevant information to ensure Albert accreditation.
• The successful candidate must have exceptional organisational skills and be a supportive team member.
• Management of the day to day running of the studio.

Shine TV is looking for an experienced Midlands based Art Assistant from 7th April through to the end of July 2025 for MasterChef which has relocated to a brand new studio in Birmingham. The candidate must have previous experience as an Art Assistant or in an Art Department position on a fast moving production and have an interest in Art & Design, studio experience is particularly desired. The skills list for this role include:

Applicants must fulfil the following criteria:
• Coping well under pressure
• Standby experience preferable
• Fast pace of working
• Creative eye
• Highly organised
• Practical
• Attention to detail
• Cleaning skills (this is a lot of the job)
• Be able to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Understands studio and location environments
• Sourcing and purchasing materials
• Set dressing and buying experience
• Graphics experience using adobe software
• Time management skills
• Live within 1 hour of the studio in Digbeth due to early starts & late finishes

The following specific skills are also desirable:
• DIY skills (using tools such as a sander, stapler, drill, glue gun etc)
• Vinyling
• Painting
• Sewing

Shine TV is looking for an experienced Midlands based Production Secretary from mid March to the end of July 2025 for MasterChef: The Professionals which has relocated to Birmingham.

The candidate should ideally be used to fast moving productions and able to adapt to evolving situations with strong multi-tasking skills, they also must have previous TV credits in this role.

Exceptional organisation skills and able to keep coherent, up to date logs for travel, accommodation and release forms.
Be confident at creating Purchase Orders, as well as managing and reconciling credit & cash cards. Experience using PMI is preferable but not essential.
Comfortable overseeing a team of runners with day to day tasks to ensure smooth running of studio.
Proficient at booking various modes of transport and creating movement orders for contributors and crew.
Assisting with logistics for location shoots including travel, accommodation & catering
Assisting the Production Manager & Coordinator with day to day tasks at studio and ensuring all consumables are stocked up.
The role will be based in Birmingham and candidates should live within one hour of our studio in Digbeth.

Shine TV is looking for an experienced Midlands based Junior Production Manager from mid March to the end of July 2025 for MasterChef: The Professionals which has relocated to Birmingham.

The candidate should ideally be used to fast moving productions and able to adapt to evolving situations with strong multi-tasking skills.

Experience in planning & organising multiple logistics involved in location shoots, including abroad.
Oversee creation call sheets, filming schedules and movement orders.
Have an idea of how to manage budgets & the cost manager effectively, experience using PMI is preferable but not essential.
Confident at dealing with contributors & talent and managing their day to day logistics.
Overseeing and creating contracts for filming teams and crew.
Be extremely organised and capable of managing a production team effectively.
Ideally has experience with Albert and logging all the relevant information to help towards Albert accreditation.
Assisting the production manager with the day to day running of studio.
Comfortable completing end of day file checking and rushes logs to send to the edit.
The successful candidate must have exceptional organisational skills and be a supportive team member.
