Our Story

Dr Charles Armitage and Dan Blake launched Florence back in October 2016 after realising that the indutsry’s approach to nurse recruitment was broken. Florence is the revolutionary new platform that connects nurses directly to care providers that need to fill vacant shifts.

Traditionally this process is managed by nursing agencies that charge huge commissions to the care providers. Furthermore, the process is inefficient and not patient-centric.

Florence removes the middleman.

And by removing the middleman from the process, care providers make huge savings and can pass on some of those savings to nurses in the form of higher wages.
