Back spasms can feel frightening and deeply frustrating. They can make you dread every movement, cancel plans, and doubt your body. Especially in the first 24–48 hours, when everything feels super sensitive and you’re being extra cautious, trying not to make it worse.

That’s why I created the 90-second back spasm reset. It’s a simple process to calm your nervous system and help your body feel safer, which can support a quicker recovery from a severe flare-up.

And it’s also why I created a more detailed first-48-hours guide. Because even when you get pain relief, there is often very little practical guidance beyond generic stretches. And if you’re in an active spasm, stretching too early can make the whole thing feel worse.

If you’d like the written 90-second reset plus the full 48-hour guide (what helps, what to avoid, and how to rebuild confidence in your body), DM me SPASM.

Gentle safety note: if pain is new, severe, worsening, or comes with numbness, weakness, fever, chest pain, breathlessness, or changes in bladder or bowel control, please seek urgent medical advice.

Associate Osteopath (Self-Employed, New Grad / Up to 2 Years PQE) – Health in Motion Osteopaths, Ealing W5

Location: Pitshanger Lane, Ealing, W5
Basis: Self-employed associate (fee-share)
Commitment: Minimum 12 months (ideally 2 years)
Start date: [Insert date]

Health in Motion Osteopaths is a well-established, community clinic in the heart of Pitshanger, Ealing. We’re known for warm, attentive care and a whole-person, outcome-led approach.

We are currently turning away new patients and are looking for a committed Associate Osteopath (newly qualified or up to 2 years post-graduation) to join us on a self-employed basis.

This is an opportunity to take over an existing patient list and grow a loyal following in an affluent area, with genuine support and mentorship.

1️⃣ The opportunity

Training in our list-building methods

A steady flow of new patients from day one (we are over capacity and actively referring out)

Work in a bright, welcoming clinic with a strong local reputation and excellent Google reviews

Regular mentorship and clinical support, especially around:

💫 Chronic and persistent pain
💫 Acute care

💫 Patient compliance and retention

💫 Prescribing a clear course of care

💫 Women’s health

💫 Paediatric health

💫 Nervous-system-led approaches

💫 Rehabilitation instruction and home exercise planning

💫 Structured support in building a sustainable, enjoyable caseload (not just “seeing lots of new patients and hoping for the best”)

Hours:

Minimum of two non-consecutive days per week

Preference for associates who can work at least one Saturday per fortnight

2️⃣ About you

💫 Qualified osteopath with full GOsC registration and appropriate insurance

💫 Set up (or willing to set up) to work on a self-employed associate basis

💫 Have the right to work in the UK

💫 Open-minded and curious – comfortable integrating manual therapy with education, movement and nervous-system-aware care

💫 Warm, reliable, and good at building long-term patient relationships

💫 Willing to commit for at least 12 months (2-year commitment preferred) to give continuity for patients and the clinic

💫 Experience is welcome, but we are particularly open to a newer graduate with the right attitude who is keen on mentorship and growth.

What we offer

➡️ A busy clinic environment with real scope to grow your list

➡️ Front-desk support and use of our online booking and payment system

➡️ Beautiful treatment rooms in a friendly neighbourhood high street

➡️ Regular check-ins and mentoring with the clinic principal

➡️ Fee-share structure on all patient fees.

➡️ Access to our systems, forms and processes so you can focus on patient care

➡️ Admin support

You’ve followed expert advice, tried physio, osteo, and chiro. Even had injections… but the pain always returns.

You love being active, but pain is stealing your energy and joy. You catch yourself thinking, “This just isn’t me.”

You’ve lost hope of ever feeling like your strong, usual self again.

You may have even considered surgery or had it, only for the pain to creep back.

However, the truth is that most approaches overlook what’s truly happening in your body.

And the worst part? You don’t know what else you should be doing. You’re confused, frustrated, and starting to wonder: “Is it all in my head?”

If that sounds like you, follow me and take a look through my content.

I’ll show you what actually causes persistent pain in active women — and how to work through it so you can move freely again, safely.

Like Gillian, back and foot pain had ended her walking holidays. After working with me online, she’s now training pain-free for her next trek.

If this sounds like you, follow .osteopath and scroll my content. You’ll learn what’s really behind your pain — and how to break free from it finally.
