Amber Massage Amber has 7 years experience with training in both Holistic and Sports + Remedial massage. Amber is a massage therapist based in Crouch End, North London.

She is qualified in Holistic Massage (Level 4 diploma) and Sports + Remedial Massage (Level 5 diploma) both from the Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork. With 7 years of experience she is a capable and caring therapist who has created a safe and nurturing space in which to provide personalised and intuitive treatments. She is a keen gym goer with a passion for weight training and believes that

movement is essential for a healthy body. Amber enjoys working with clients to relieve pain, free constricted areas and improve their movement while encouraging them to switch off, relax and re-embody. Treatments:

Our feet need space and our tootsie's LOVE to splay. For me, wearing toe spacers when I am shoe free and pottering about at home feels like I am treating them after locking them up in narrow shoes.
Toe spacers gently encourage the small muscles in our feet to stretch and can even reduce discomfort caused by bunions!

It is still midwinter, and even though we've had our shortest day (winter solstice) and can see a few extra mins of sunshine before we are plunged into darkness again, it might still feel like we are in the trenches. The depths of winter is when we are at our most vulnerable - a lack of vitamin d often bringing sadness and depression.

It's interesting to look at nature and maybe take a leaf out it's book - What's happening in the landscape right now? It's resting. What's essential for the earth itself is usually vital for us too.

Next month onwards might bring with it a new energy and a feeling of creativity and excitement but for now it is still time to recuperate and keep it slow. Use January as a time of nourishing and rest - more duvet days and definitely more massage ✨
