Meridian Yoga Teacher Training London | 50H CET
Using Acupoints in Asana with Rose Erin Vaughan

There is often more happening in a posture than what we can see.

This 5-day, in-person training at Indaba Yoga Studio explores how the 12 meridian system can be felt and applied within yoga practice, rather than studied in theory alone.
Rooted in both subtle energy anatomy and the myofascial system, the course offers a clear and practical framework for working with acupoints in asana, sequencing, and adjustments.

You will learn how to:
• work with the 12 energy lines within postures
• apply acupressure points in a precise and informed way
• sequence for the 5 elements, including their associated organs and emotional qualities
• support deeper physical and emotional release through meridian-based adjustments

Each day combines pranayama, meridian-based vinyasa and yin, lecture, and hands-on application, allowing the material to be understood through both study and direct experience.

The light is returning. The energy is shifting.

This time of year often brings a natural pull to reset, not through pressure or reinvention, but through a quiet return to what supports you.

Longer days. A little more space.
A chance to move, to breathe, to listen more closely.

This spring at Indaba, we are welcoming a series of workshops and trainings designed to support that return, physically, mentally, and energetically.

• Conscious Connected Breath | Alan Dolan (Sunday 26 April)
A guided breathwork journey to regulate the nervous system and reconnect to self
• Deep Listening | Othman Haddad (Saturday 2 May)
An immersive sound experience to quiet mental noise and deepen perception
• Somatic Breathwork | Rebecca Dennis (Saturday 2 May)
A structured breathwork practice to release tension and restore internal balance
• Exploring Space | Norman Blair (Sunday 3 May)
A considered yin practice to create space in the body and stillness in the mind
• Forrest Yoga Teacher Training | Ana Forrest & Jose Calarco (9–17 May)
An immersive training integrating breath, sound, and ceremony to deepen and evolve your practice

Each offering creates space in a different way.
In the body. In the breath. In the mind.
This season, make space.
Return to practice.

All workshops and trainings are now open to book. Spaces are limited for all our courses! Join us in studio via the link in bio.

Vinyasa Yoga & Gong Bath – New Friday Evening Class at Indaba

End your week with movement and sound.

Starting this Friday, join Ina Yordanova for a 90-minute evening practice at Indaba Yoga in London combining dynamic vinyasa yoga with the deeply restorative experience of a gong bath.

The class begins with a short meditation and intention setting before moving into a flowing vinyasa sequence. Sun salutations, standing postures and balancing work help build strength, mobility and flexibility while connecting breath with movement.

Throughout the practice Ina weaves in elements of yoga philosophy, breathwork and alignment, creating a class that is thoughtful, accessible and grounded in technique.

As the pace gradually slows, the body is guided into deeper release through functional movement and floor work. The practice concludes with a long savasana accompanied by the resonant sound of the gong.

The vibrations of the gong create a powerful sound healing experience, helping calm the nervous system, release physical tension and invite deep rest.

Open Level – beginners welcome, with options for more experienced practitioners.

Rebecca Hannah returns to Indaba for The Art of Flex-Ability.

This 25-hour training explores the architecture of flexibility through intelligent strength, mobility and control. Over three days Rebecca shares the methodology she has developed through years of dedicated practice and teaching, helping practitioners understand flexibility not simply as stretching, but as an integrated system of strength, mobility and intelligent movement.

For those who cannot attend the full course, we have opened two morning masterclasses this weekend. These sessions offer a small window into Rebecca’s approach to flexibility training.

Forrest Yoga Teacher Training in London.

What happens when yoga practice moves beyond the mat and into music, ceremony and deep inner work?

This May, Ana Forrest and Jose Calarco return to Indaba Yoga to lead the Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training. Ana and Jose have shared their work with the Indaba community for many years through a range of trainings, workshops and special events, and this advanced training offers a rare opportunity to study with them in an immersive setting.

Forrest Yoga is known for its strong physical foundation. Strength, breath awareness and deep core work form the basis of the practice. But this lineage also invites practitioners to explore something deeper.

Music has long been woven into Forrest Yoga. Throughout the training, live music, rhythm and sound guide the breath and support emotional release, opening space for deeper awareness within the body and the heart.

Alongside the physical practice, ceremony becomes part of the journey. Through ritual, intention and Jose Calarco’s musical ceremonies, participants explore connection, presence and the deeper wisdom that underpins the practice.

Together, Ana Forrest and Jose Calarco have created an immersive training that integrates:
• Pranayama
• Asana
• Teaching methodology
• Sound and music
• Ceremony and connection to spirit

This 9-day Forrest Yoga Advanced Teacher Training is open to yoga teachers as well as dedicated practitioners who wish to deepen their practice and understanding of the work.

Expect a profound and highly experiential immersion into the rich world of Forrest Yoga- supporting both personal transformation and the evolution of your practice or teaching.

Dharma Yoga at Indaba | London

Rooted in the teachings of the legendary yogi Sri Dharma Mittra, Dharma Yoga is a powerful and deeply spiritual practice that invites strength, humility and devotion.

At Indaba, this lineage is shared by our beloved teachers Emi Tull and Alix Inness, who guide students through a practice that is both physically demanding and spiritually nourishing. Classes include challenging asana such as inversions, arm balances and backbends, with variations for different levels of practice, alongside the deeper limbs of yoga: pranayama, meditation, mantra and kirtan.

More than a physical practice, Dharma Yoga is a path of self-study and transformation. It encourages us to cultivate discipline, compassion and inner stillness while supporting one another in a shared journey of practice.

Whether you are joining a weekday open level class, exploring the Saturday Dharma Masterclass, or experiencing the devotional depth of Sunday Dharma Yoga Sadhana, these sessions offer a space to deepen your practice and connect with a vibrant and welcoming community.

Our Story

Indaba believes passionately in the positive benefits of yoga and the great things that can happen when you feel good.

The word Indaba is an ancient African term for “gathering”, and this idea lies at the heart of Indaba - to bring people together, provide the opportunity to step away from daily life, and take the time to reconnect both with ourselves and with the world around us.

In 2011 we opened the doors to our beautiful space, to bring a more welcoming, positive and non-judgemental attitude to yoga, respecting the ancient traditions but also embracing new styles where appropriate. Committed to maintaining the highest standards of teaching, space and facilities, we aim to provide fun, uplifting, energising and challenging experiences in which anyone, beginner or expert, can share.
