We are a professional training provider delivering lifeguard (NPLQ), swimming and first aid courses in the UK. Our website is coming soon!

Murton Training & Aquatics involves three disciplines: National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ) courses, first aid training and swimming crash courses. Whether you're a company or a school looking to host a course, please feel free to contact us! We also offer our training services for ongoing lifeguard training and assessments. All of our courses follow the HSE guidance in association with Royal Lifesaving Society (RLSS) and the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA).

📍 New Venue Announcement - West Midlands

We are delighted to announce that from February 2026, Murton Training will be partnering with Aldridge School as a new trusted training venue in the West Midlands.

This partnership allows us to expand our reach and continue delivering high quality, RLSS approved lifeguard, water safety and first aid training to new communities. Aldridge School’s excellent facilities will support our mission of developing confident, skilled individuals with life saving knowledge.

We are really excited about what this partnership will bring and look forward to welcoming new learners at this venue very soon.

An excellent course with a brilliant group with lots of hard work, teamwork and commitment shown throughout. You should all be proud of what you’ve achieved and the responsibility you’re now ready to take on.

Darren first started with us right at the beginning of his leisure career back in 2019, and it’s been fantastic to come full circle and have one of our own delivering the course. Proper proud moment and a great example of the pathway in action.

📢 Exciting Updates for 2025 📢

We’re looking forward to another year of high-quality training, with new venues to be announced soon.

First, we return to Bishopsgate School and St Margaret’s Sports Centre this February, continuing our commitment to developing the next generation of water safety professionals.

We’ve been a bit quiet here, but we’ve been hard at work behind the scenes! 💪

We’re proud to continue as an official training provider for the RLSS, equipping individuals with essential water safety and first aid skills to help keep everyone safe. Building skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting confidence.

This week at Murton Training has been all about skill-building, teamwork, and water safety! 🌊🏊‍♀️

We’ve been running lifeguard courses at both of our fantastic venues, Bishopsgate School and St Margaret’s Sports Centre, where future lifeguards gained hands-on experience and essential skills. Congratulations to all the newly qualified lifeguards!
