I had thought I wouldn’t be able to make this as I was going to be in Dubai but this guy is a moral psychologist. I loved his book “moral tribes” but this is about his latest which looks at teen mental health issues.

I’ve followed his sub stack for a few months and he and fellow researchers have been positing that THE cause , not a correlation but a causation is the advent of the smartphone. This sounds a bit reductionist as an argument to me but I’m traipsing to Islington tomorrow to see what he has to say.

A crisis however is right. That’s two friends in the last week who have teens attempting su***de. That is unimaginable Hi I thought I’d be away but am round nd bought a ticket. Are you free xx
