STRESS BUSTING!!
Today 5th November is National Stress Awareness day.
Stress can be a real killer not just in the workplace but also in day to day life. We do not always realise our stresses or the fact we are affected by stress.
Stress can affect us mentally/ mood/ emotionally / healthwise and physically. Stress is a big causative factor in serious conditions like heart problems/ migraines/ diabetes / colitis/ irritable bowel/ strokes/ headaches etc to mention a few. The list is endless.
National Stress Awareness Day came about in the late 1990's to provide information on stress and provide strategies on how to address it within companies and for us as individuals. This is still an evolving science.
The remedies are out there .... we just need to go and find them.
Today think about your personal well being..... reach out to someone if its getting too much / seek solace in nature / go hug a tree / try a sound bath class / get exercising/ have that much needed day off. Most important give yourself time and do the things you love.

I see patients day in, day out a small percentage whose pain is a direct consequence of stress.
As osteopaths we can help alleviate some of that pain !! ( and maybe reduce the stress!!)
Be it the lower back or grumbling neck pain or even symptoms of irritable bowel.
Give us a call to fix you next appointment and join the troops who are on a journey to less stress in their lives! Its YOUR health at the end of the day.
YOU can do something about your stress. You are not alone.
