Ahhh! A total mindset and mood shift - and so much fun 🤩 to do!

It’s been a long and emotional 8 months for me…

I was ready for a shift - a total energy shift - Mental, Emotional, Physical

I had 2 days off - so the kids and I got on a train to the English Seaside

(Yup - this Cali girl needs the vastness of the 🌊 to re-align)

A complete game changer for me …

no plans, no schedule, no having to show up for anyone but me - and yes - no meal preps and clean up !

Spontaneous, Flowing just like the water …

One could argue - that’s what holidays are for …

however - the sense of liberation is in the spontaneity, in being care free , not having a structure for a few days …

Beautiful beach walks, some sunshine, ☀️, friendly people …. and Ice Cream 🍦 🌸

In my vedanta school -
we are learning 5 vs. (Gita Panchamrit)
from the Bhagvat Gita this year

in celebration of the Chinmaya Mission’s 75th Jubilee

Ch. 2 vs. 47 addresses Karma Yoga - the act of performing your duty but not being hung up on the results of your work.

Work/perform as your duty - don’t be brought down by insecurities or imperfections

& don’t let your ego be fed by the positive outcomes

….

BUT then … life carried on and I thought …

hmmmm…. I need to continue to show up,

and share what I know

with all my practitioners

I know that I’m not the best Yoga teacher out there …

but if my work impacted ONE life ….

and brought them in this beautiful path I so value and love ..

then …I’m doing my Karma Yoga …

fulfilling my duty 🙏🏼

A tough start to the year … but each day has been a step into a deeper spiritual journey for me…

7 - SURPRISE! I was whisked away by a United Airlines customer service attendant from the air bridge into a limo on the SFO tarmac - transfer to International United Lounge. The upgrade was a wonderful surprise from my BFF 😘🌸

11 - Honestly it’s my daily seat at breathwork and meditation that keeps me balanced and grounded

17 - YES! I did it! Combined my design and tech backgrounds with a little help from AI and finally created my own website !! www.allinsync.co.uk 👏🏼

18 - Curated a new class. This is my community service project. Yoga for unpaid caregivers. Ma’s guidance 🙏🏼

19 - Curated a Women & Wellbeing weekly class. For women in transition - perimenopause to post menopause

This month has been tough and healing is a process

Letting go, of something we identify with, has been the theme of all my October classes.

We attach ourselves to labels - our gender, race, religion, roles we play at home, the titles we have at work.

These roles, when needed, play an important role, however, they differentiate us from each other.

When we let go of these labels, we begin to feel a ONENESS with the Universe. With each other.

I wish you that beautiful experience of flowing with the universe, feeling weightless, experiencing life through a sense of liberation.
