I chose aliveness over comfort and fear is my most loyal companion.

🏡I did try to pretend to be someone who likes the security and routine that come from having a family, a home, and a “steady job.”

🏡It would be so much easier and more comfortable, and it would suit my Taurean side that looks for ease, and a slower pace.

🤔I asked myself, why am I not like so many of my friends who love all of the above?

🌎The truth is, I love travelling and challenges, and getting to know how other people live, think, and behave….and eat!! (I am italian after all)

🌎I love discovering different landscapes and learning about LIFE.

❄️❄️This year, I had the opportunity to be in Sweden, in February, house, and dog-sitting for a friend, and without thinking, I said YES.

❄️Was/am I scared, worried and asking myself Why? Of course I am.
It is cold and snowy, I don't have the right clothes. It is difficult.

☀️The thing is, I live by my belief: LIVE WHILE YOU ARE ALIVE.
And this is now.

I want to experience as much of this life as I can, while I can.
While I am still young (at 58), healthy, and strong.

😭MY MENOPAUSE TRANSITION WAS HELL and limited my life for a long time because my brain and body were exhausted all the time.

😭Anxiety and fear stopped me from choosing the life I wanted to live.
I now have accepted that Fear is my travelling companion. So we travel and experience life together.
