Hi Folks! As previously mentioned, I’ll have a stall at this lovely, local market. It’s not too early to think about gifts for the holidays or just something nice for yourself. So come visit me and check out my jewellery along with lots of other great vendors of art and food!

This weekend we celebrated Jim with friends from near and far and collected over many years of life. It was a wonderful party capped off with a visit and walk with dear friends in the autumnal autumn sunshine. I’m so honoured that bought one of my heart rings and I hope she loves it as much as I love mine. And the dogs are pooped from all the extra attention. What a fun weekend…and it’s only Saturday afternoon!

This has been a busy and fun summer and I have done very little making because I haven’t really been around! Work starts on Monday and so I just have been enjoying dabbling in my beads again with the little time I have left before everything gets super busy again. This beaded necklace is a mix of aquamarine, turquoise, sapphire, labradorite, opal, pearls, moonstone, emerald and a few others I can’t totally identify (my organisational and labelling skills are 👎). I also threw a few little charms on there and some vermille beads made by a tribe of artisan women in Thailand. Pretty! PS I will soon be living with an A level photography student so let’s hope she can help me improve the quality of my pics!

It has taken me over two years to make this necklace. It’s a necklace for a dear friend and it was hard to make for a lot of reasons and very important to me that I got it right. It took a few tries but I hope that the finished version will bring some comfort and peace to its wearer. 💙🌙❤️ ✨

My yoga classes are not just about yoga.

I started Claire Light Yoga with a vision of not only sharing the joy that it brings me with others, but also of empowering and supporting the disabled adults I work with. Claire Light yoga is a stepping stone to a bigger, socially focused project, through which I hope to infuse yoga practice with the teaching of transferable skills and the development of a social enterprise that benefits disabled adults in my community.
