As you may be aware, we both have family and friends in war zones.
War is ugly. War is scary and it brings us to our knees. What are we to do when we are surrounded by horrific sounds that are messengers of pain and death? What are we to do when we can’t reach the voices of loved ones and when we do manage to talk to them, their words fill our hearts with panic and our eyes with tears?
What then?
My own path into yogic practice began during war.
They became my lifeline and for four decades, they brought me back to balance and inner peace. Today, more than ever, both Matt and I, feel responsible to share what has been helping us stay grounded between calls… between tears…between waves of despair.
We must bring sanity in an insane world.
We all do.
Not because it’s easy
but because we must.
