Hello everyone! I am seeking participants for my Doctoral thesis project on gratitude. Gratitude is found to improve happiness, wellbeing, relationships, health and life satisfaction, making this a very worthwhile study to participate in! This study will enable you to try out ‘gratitude practice’ in your daily lives.
Eligibility criteria: Couples who have lived together for a minimum of 6 months.
What’s involved? You and your partner will each complete a gratitude workbook which you can print at home. You will both complete simple gratitude exercises for seven consecutive days that take 5-10 minutes to complete daily. You will also complete a quick questionnaire online about your wellbeing and relationship before, after and at two weeks following the completion of the workbook. These questionnaires take 5-10 minutes to complete each time. All your data will be treated confidentially and anonymously. All participation is online/ done from home.
What do I gain? This study is expected to improve your wellbeing. You will be able to keep your gratitude workbooks and will be entered into a prize draw to win a £30 Amazon voucher per couple.
