Hello everyone,

I’m delighted to share that I am now back at work, although I’ll be continuing with a reduced number of sessions for the time being. I’m so grateful to all my clients for your patience and support during my recovery. This has meant a great deal to me.

I’m also excited to let you know that I’ll be volunteering at a fundraising event for a wonderful charity. As part of this, I’ll be offering two talks; one for parents and one for teens. It feels like a beautiful way to step back into work while contributing to such an important cause.

I’ve attached the event poster with all the details—would love to see some of you there!

✨ Health Update - Healing isn’t a race ✨

I’m having good days and bad days. Sometimes I get a spurt of energy that lasts 10–15 minutes… and then I’m completely exhausted again.

I’m learning to listen to my body and truly prioritise myself. 💛

I’m ever grateful for all the help I’m receiving — and for being able to enjoy friends’ company when I’m up to it.

My learnings so far:
💡 Do not rush the healing process
💡 It’s okay to be looked after
💡 It’s okay to not be doing things

If you’re on your own healing journey, please remember — rest is part of the process. 🌿💫

🌸 A Legacy of Love and Service 🌸

Today, I want to share my heartfelt gratitude to Pramukh Swami Maharaj, whose life and teachings have been a guiding light for me — both personally and in my work with families.

He showed that true greatness lies in humility, that service is the highest form of love, and that peace begins in the heart. His wisdom continues to shape how I live, serve, and connect with others.

💛 “In the joy of others lies our own.”
These words are not just a teaching — they are a way of life.

🙏 Forever grateful for his inspiration.

🌸 A Note from Amlani Coaching 🌸

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share that I had surgery on 30th July and am now taking some time to rest and recover fully. The office is currently closed, and I’ll be back to face-to-face sessions in the first or second week of September.

Thank you so much for your patience, kind messages, and understanding — it means a lot. I’ll respond to messages when I can, though replies may take a little longer than usual during this recovery period.

I saw this image today and I am curious what this triggers in you?

As parents we do whatever we can to protect our children BUT sometimes we have to share our difficulties with them for them to understand why we are not always present.

To help children learn and grow, we have to be vulnerable. Vulnerability creates connection and gives them an opportunity to learn and grow from our difficulties.

As a child and family coach, I always aim to bring better understanding between parents and children.

If you want to improve your relationship with your family members, contact me to see how I can help.

I was blown away 🤯 by my client yesterday who when given the opportunity to reflect on what I taught him came up with the most amazing metaphor.

Children do have a full capacity to learn 📝 if we teach them in a way that they understand.

But what touched me the most is he asked his mum to buy an extra ticket to Disney Land for me to join their family holiday. 💖💖💖💖💖

When I said I cannot leave my husband home alone, he was like “mum can you buy 2 extra tickets?” Genuine love and care from a 9 year old. 🥰

Possibly the most important thing you'll read this year...

The following is the philosophy of Charles Schulz, the creator of the 'Peanuts' comic strip.

You don't have to actually answer the questions. Just ponder on them. Just read straight through, and you'll get the point.

1. Name the five wealthiest people in the world.
2. Name the last five Heisman trophy winners.
3. Name the last five winners of the Miss America pageant.
4. Name ten people who have won the Nobel or Pulitzer Prize.
5. Name the last half dozen Academy Award winners for best actor and actress.
6. Name the last decade's worth of World Series winners.

How did you do?

The point is, none of us remember the headliners of yesterday. These are no second-rate achievers. They are the best in their fields.

But the applause dies. Awards tarnish ...
Achievements are forgotten. Accolades and certificates are buried with their owners.

Here's another quiz. See how you do on this one:

1. List a few teachers who aided your journey through school.
2. Name three friends who have helped you through a difficult time.
3. Name five people who have taught you something worthwhile.
4. Think of a few people who have made you feel appreciated and special.
5. Think of five people you enjoy spending time with.

Easier?

𝚃𝚑𝚎 𝚕𝚎𝚜𝚜𝚘𝚗:

The people who make a difference in your life are not the ones with the most credentials, the most money, or the most awards. They simply are the ones who care the most.
