Ever wonder why symptoms can often be worse in the morning? In Bryarly et al.’s report, many dysautonomia patients report worse symptoms in the morning with improvement throughout the day. These experiences were reflected in hemodynamic studies conducted by Moon et al. (2016), where patients' orthostatic heart rate increments were shown to be higher in the morning. The increase in heart rate is likely caused by lying down for a prolonged period of time, as well as the lack of fluid intake during sleep.

Proventus & Others

The Proventus Project originally began as a small support charity group driven by a number of volunteers most of them were experiencing physical or mental difficulties. Unfortunately the original project was unable to maintain its position as with so many small charities we were outgunned by the dominant large (business like) charity groups. We maintain the proventus group page on facebook as an outlet to provide information relevant to diseases and disorders of all types either through our own posts or that which other people provide from their life experiences.
