Globe House Yoga Globe House Yoga is a group of independent yoga teachers offering a range of different yoga styles i Classes are held throughout the week at convenient times.

Affordable and spacious yoga classes catering for complete beginners through to more advanced and experienced practitioners. The natural lighting and the open feeling of the space create a peaceful escape from urban stress. The Yoga classes are run by a mixture of independent teachers who teach a broad range of styles. All classes are drop in, but if possible contact the teacher beforehand. Mats, blocks and blankets are all available in the studio.

✨Meet Jed, who teaches the Wednesday 6:15 PM Hatha Flow at Globe House

Jed’s journey with yoga began in 1992 on the hilltops of Vagator Beach, Goa, India, where she was first introduced to Mysore-style Ashtanga Yoga. Since then, she has spent over 30 years exploring yoga and its eight limbs with a multitude of the world’s finest teachers and practitioners, immersing herself in all aspects of yoga and its traditions.

Jed’s teaching is influenced by her extensive travels and a multitude of great teachers, exploring wisdom from many traditions and integrating it all into a grounded, expansive, all-inclusive practice of classical Hatha Yoga, pranayama, and meditation, with a dash of philosophy to add a bit of spice to her potent yoga cocktail.

At Globe House, Jed teaches a classical Hatha Yoga flow with pranayama and meditation every Wednesday at 6:15 PM. Her class focuses on building and preserving energy, relaxation, and deeper self-awareness.

🌿 A Long Class on Sunday with Kath 🌿

Join Kath for a special extended yoga session on Sunday 23rd March, where we’ll dive deep into alignment, technique, and breath. 🧘‍♀️

✨ What to Expect ✨
This class will be a dynamic, flowing asana practice with a focus on alignment and technique. We’ll explore inversions like handstand, forearm balance, and headstand (no worries, variations will be offered!). The session will end with calming breathwork, meditation, and sometimes a longer guided relaxation or Yoga Nidra to help you reset for the week ahead.

🗓️ Date & Time: Sundays, 12:30 PM – 3:00 PM
🌟 All Levels Welcome (please note, this class isn’t suitable for complete beginners)

💸 Price: £30 (sliding scale: £15–£25)

Ashtanga yoga isn’t just about physical movement — it’s a moving meditation.

With every inhale and exhale, the breath becomes a rhythm. The gaze (drishti) softens your focus, drawing the mind inward. The steady vinyasa count keeps you anchored, allowing the practice to flow like a quiet current beneath the surface.

This meditative state arises when breath, movement, and focus unite — a stillness within the flow.
