I am delighted to introduce to you Neha Vora, who has joined the practice working on a Monday and Friday.
Neha graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from King’s College London University. She has gained extensive experience working in the NHS outpatient setting for over a decade, treating patients from diverse age groups and backgrounds, with a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions. Also, she has completed a range of post-graduate training, including sports massage and Pilates.
She likes to treat her patients holistically through a hands-on approach, exercise prescription, and is proactive in promoting mental health and well-being.
Outside of work, Neha enjoys meditation and gym workouts.

Tim and Michelle enjoyed a very educational day at the HCA Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Symposium in central London on Saturday.
A day well spent getting updates on all the latest in orthopaedics and sports medicine.

We had a very enjoyable and informative session this week as always with Mr Ian Bayley, discussing anatomic and reverse total shoulder replacement surgery and post-operative rehabilitation.

Last week we were delighted to welcome Mr Bob Chatterjee, Consultant Spinal Surgeon, to the practice.

We had a very informative discussion regarding the surgical and non-surgical management of spinal stenosis and spinal nerve root irritation. Bob’s extensive knowledge and passion for the treatment of these conditions was greatly appreciated by the whole team along with his down to earth and pragmatic approach.

Women's Health Physiotherapy

Already specialising in Women's Health, Michelle Harford recently increased her knowledge by attending an Advanced training course run by POGP (Pelvic Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy) on Complex Pelvic Pain. This 2.5 day intensive course covered Chronic Pelvic Pain symptoms and the current Evidence Based Practice in treating and managing these conditions.

Michelle can assess and treat women who are experiencing Urinary Incontinence, Pelvic Organ Prolapse and Chronic Pelvic Pain. She encourages women to access Physiotherapy help which can offer advice/education, exercises and manual therapy. This can significantly improve these symptoms, improving women's quality of life and daily activities.

New Full Time Physiotherapist - Michelle Harford

We are delighted that Michelle, who has been working on a Saturday at the Practice for over 2 years, will now be working with us full-time from next Tuesday 29th October 😀

Michelle graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Plymouth University in 2018, following an earlier degree in Exercise Science, Health, and Rehabilitation (BSc Hons) from Bournemouth University in 2008. She has gained extensive experience
across various inpatient and outpatient settings, including Trauma and Orthopaedics, Medical Rehabilitation, Neurorehabilitation, and Musculoskeletal Outpatient care.

In 2020, Michelle moved to London to specialise in Orthopaedics at the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre. Since then, she has continued to focus on Musculoskeletal conditions. She has a strong interest in treating patients with both acute and chronic pain, particularly neck and spinal conditions, and enjoys working
with a variety of peripheral joint issues.

Michelle also specialises in Women’s Health Physiotherapy, having completed training through the Pelvic, Obstetric and Gynaecological Physiotherapy (POGP) association. She offers assessment and treatment for conditions such as urinary
incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse.

Passionate about whole-body health, Michelle is dedicated to improving patients’ quality of life. She works closely with each individual to achieve their goals, providing tailored education, advice, and treatments, all while ensuring the process is
engaging and enjoyable.

Tim enjoyed attending a wonderful presentation last night by one of our lovely patients, Jutta Raftery, on her fascinating trips to Antarctica and the affects there of global warming.
