A well deserved few days away from the office to celebrate your milestone 🎂 continue doing what you do please as you are amazing at your role as a funeral director. 3 wonderful families left us today with peace and love . Different cultures, beliefs and religions are what makes us diverse . I wish for a lot of things . . . . I wish I could talk to my dad and nephew , I wish everyone was kind to all living things , I wish the world was calm and full of love . And I wish those that have passed through our care could shout volumes about how we truly do care , where everyone else’s eyes can’t see us theirs can and they know , they truly know . X

It’s me and Rhys and our small support network around us . That’s it . No big team, no big fleet , but I do not care what anyone says we do it best. We give ourselves 120% to every single family we look after and they will only ever feel as if they are the only ones in our lives . We give ourselves truly to you and we always will . All 3 funerals left us today with love and healing and the truth of how we are at Morgan’s Funeral Directors x

As always I’m interested in options . With ‘Direct Cremations’ and online companies on the rise I just wondered how much research families actually do. I.E where their loved one goes , how they are looked after (do people still think about this part) among other things .

I have just done a price comparison of our non attended funerals with the main UK provider of this type of service and we are much more reasonable . So do you look at price or just assume they are cheaper .

As I said just curious and comparison is below

Everyone has a choice and everyone needs to do what they feel is right for them and their family but I do struggle with parts of this online provider . . .

To everyone we have had the privilege of looking after this year , or who we are still looking after - it’s just one day , do what you have to do

Just thought I’d share the below which were my feelings when I was in a terrible place but all the cliches are true , time really does help .

We were honoured today to be asked to lay a wreath in memory of all of those fallen by Revered Wyatt of Christ Church Bexleyheath. It was a beautiful service and a true privilege.

I’m a spiritual person . I believe . I don’t think I could do what I do if I didn’t believe there was something more and that we’ll all see each other again . And I look for the signs everywhere, signs from my own loved ones and from everyone we’ve ever looked after . So when a robin flew into my house , yes you read that right - then I knew it was my dad. Who can ever say a robin visited their home . And at I time I really needed him . It’s taken me a few weeks to share as it felt so private but today , I felt ready x x

Well what a 24 hours . In our non funeral life , our youngest son was offered a professional football contract for which we are so proud , he has worked so unbelievably hard and shown a commitment that most don’t and at just 13 years old . Fast forward to the next day when we had 3 funerals heading out , all deserved the same amount of and love and attention from us and we are so grateful to those around us who support us . X

It’s Gorgeous George’s birthday today , here he is healthy and happy and loving his new role with his brother at CMS Scaffolding . We’re very proud of all our boys and thought you’d all like to see that face .
