Supporting women’s health through nutrition is about simple, consistent habits. Prioritising protein helps with energy, hormones, and cravings, while adequate iron supports focus and reduces fatigue.

Even how you eat matters—starting with protein and fibre before carbs can help keep blood sugar steady. Adding healthy fats and key nutrients like B vitamins, magnesium, vitamin D, and minerals such as selenium and iodine helps support hormones, mood, stress, and overall health

I’d rather stand and watch nature than be in big crowds in the city.

There’s something about slowing down, breathing, and just being present that puts everything back into perspective.

A few reminders I take from moments like this:
• Rest is productive
• Space brings clarity
• Nature grounds you

Sometimes it’s not about doing more, it’s about choosing to pause.

Protein slows down how quickly food leaves your stomach and how fast glucose enters your bloodstream. This helps prevent the sharp spikes, and dips, that drive fatigue and snacking.

What this looks like in real life:
   •   Eat your eggs before your toast
   •   Start with chicken, fish, tofu or legumes before rice or potatoes
   •   Add protein to breakfast instead of reaching straight for carbs

Even small changes like this can have a noticeable impact.

You don’t need to restrict food, just support your body in how you eat it.

Midlife is a powerful time for women to reconnect with their health.
Our bodies change, our hormones shift, and the demands of life can be greater than ever. Yet much of the advice we’re given still treats women as if we’re simply smaller versions of men.
Supporting sleep, strength, nutrition and mental wellbeing becomes even more important after 50, helping women stay resilient, energised and strong for the decades ahead.

Homemade coffee biscuits this morning.

Buckwheat flour, honey, quality organic butter and real coffee, simple ingredients I recognise and trust. When I make my own treats, I know exactly what I’m getting… no additives, no hidden oils, just real food.

Quality matters, especially when you’re indulging in something sweet.
Because nourishment and enjoyment can exist together.
