Gynecomastia explained 💙
Gynecomastia is the enlargement of male breast tissue, usually caused by a hormonal imbalance between estrogen and testosterone. It can affect one or both sides and may feel firm, tender, or swollen beneath the ni**le.
It’s often confused with chest fat, but true gynecomastia involves glandular tissue—not just fat—and won’t go away with diet or exercise alone.
Common triggers include puberty, aging, certain medications, or underlying health conditions.
If you’re unsure what you’re dealing with, a proper assessment can help guide the right approach and treatment options.
