Slow down. Breathe in. Hold what matters most 🤍
Practicing gentle savasna with my baby resting on your chest, letting the breath guide you both into calm and connection.
Have you taken a moment today to just breathe and be present with your little one?

No one tells you this… but your body is already making your baby’s first milk before they’re even born 👀

Antenatal colostrum harvesting can be such a powerful tool—especially in those first few days after birth when every drop really matters.

It’s not for everyone though, and timing + technique make a big difference (this is something I always go through properly in person).

Before you start this journey, always double check with your midwife that it’s safe for you-every pregnancy is wonderfully different 🤍

If you have any painful contractions, stop expressing and contact your midwife straight away.

I could also share, how to collect it, and the most common discouragement I see parents facing …

Would you like me to go into that too?

Sometimes it starts as a class…
and then it becomes something more 💛

A place where tired mornings are understood,
where small wins are celebrated,
and where both mums and babies can just be.

Over time, it turns into a little circle —
of support, connection and familiar faces.

If you’re looking for a space where you and your baby feel truly seen,
this might be exactly what you’ve been needing 💛.
Only 2 baby yoga drop-in spots left 💫
A few new classes will be opening soon ✨

Love,
Laura

👶 There’s a new UK law for parents… but let’s talk about what it REALLY means.

In short: the April 2026 changes don’t increase the length of paternity leave — they mainly make it easier for more people to qualify for that two‑week entitlement without having to wait 26 weeks with a single employer, and make taking it more flexible.

“It is a start”, yes! is it enough? You tell me :)

🤍 I believe that those first days aren’t just “time off”
They’re where bonding happens

Skin-to-skin, eye contact, voice, touch, this is how babies feel safe, this is how their nervous system develops

💭 Imagine if more partners
had the time to join baby massage or baby yoga
to really slow down and connect

Because bonding isn’t automatic …it needs time.

Struggling to get comfortable with breastfeeding? The cradle hold might be your game changer 💛

Breastfeeding position: the cradle hold 🤱

In the cradle hold, your baby lies across your chest, tummy to tummy with you, with their head resting in the crook of your arm on the same side as the feeding breast. Their ear, shoulder, and hip should be in one straight line, and their nose level with your ni**le before they latch.

This position feels natural and nurturing, especially once feeding is established. It allows beautiful eye contact, supports bonding, and can feel calm and secure for both of you when baby is latching well.

Have you found the cradle hold comfortable, or are you still searching for your perfect feeding position?

Laura xx

Co-sleeping: a practice as old as time.
Let’s acknowledge that co-sleeping is a widespread practice, especially in cultures where it’s considered the cultural norm.
Studies highlight the long history of co-sleeping and its importance in those societies.
This reel is dedicated to safer bed-sharing practices, providing information to help you make informed decisions for your family.

POV: You skip the traditional baby shower… and throw a nesting party instead 🤍✨

Instead of gifts and games, think practical love. A few simple recipes, a little prep ahead of time (so you’re not making everything from scratch on the day), and your favourite people gathered to truly support you before baby arrives.

For this one, we focused on breastfeeding-friendly snacks — energy balls (so fun to make with the kids, as one of my friends said!), blueberry muffins, and sweet potato brownies. Easy, nourishing, and perfect to stock up for those early newborn days.

Decorations? You can still keep them sweet and traditional if you love that classic baby shower feel — just with a more meaningful twist.

Would you consider a nesting party for your next baby?🤍

With love,
Laura xx

🛑Important update on formula milk recalls

There have been additional recalls affecting some SMA, Aptamil, Cow & Gate and Little Steps formula products due to a potential contamination risk. We know this may sound worrying, but the majority of formula milks are not affected. It’s still important to check any products you have at home to stay safe.

What should you do?
• Check the latest recall updates from and stop using any affected batches straight away
• If your baby becomes unwell (vomiting, diarrhoea or tummy pain), contact your GP or NHS 111
• It’s safe to switch to another first infant formula milk — they’re all nutritionally equivalent
• If your baby is on a specialist formula (lactose-free, anti-reflux, comfort or amino-acid based), speak to a healthcare professional before changing
