Who are we?
Food by Toby began five years ago after Toby’s many years working in all aspects of catering, customer service and hospitality. It began with making fresh sandwiches for one client which were delivered by pushbike and trailer. As more clients came on board, and discovered how much more we could do it quickly snowballed; now we have a variety of clients all across south London from Blackheath to Croydon and beyond.
Initially we shared our kitchen with a cake baking operation for several years, then that business owner decided to take an extended break to start and raise a family; we were offered the opportunity to take the bakery business on in order to maintain the service to a large client list, and protect the jobs of the team.
Food by Toby aims to make simple, wholesome and sustainable food, and deliver the very best of service for all of our clients. We work with private businesses and corporate clients to provide event and hospitality services. We also supply and support a growing number of small businesses make the very best retail food offerings for purchase by the public. On top of all of this we have completed an increasing amount of work for film and television productions.
