Looking forward to many many adventures to come ❤️❤️❤️

Hello all, I’m a bit shy to share this, but I’m celebrating appearing on some massive billboards with a collab between my meditation studio and wellbeing community Levitate London and Cadbury UK! It feels like a celebration of how far I’ve come in the six years since I started teaching meditation. I’m all about connection but this is about the power of distraction… Sounds mad but it’s a big moment, and if you’re in Euston or Waterloo this week, or any major UK city for the second half of June, see if you can spot me / send a pic 😂 Ryan xx
Honouring my teacher davidji as he boldly goes on another wild adventure. Love Levitate London AKA Ryan Nell ###
To all my fellow introverted HSPs. I’m back on the road again stepping waay beyond the edges of my comfort zone. Sharing space with thousands of people in the airports, hundreds on planes, and all this before I even arrive at my destination and do the thing I looovvvve. Sharing my signature destressifying techniques, guiding meditations -and teaching people how to heal their heart.
But the getting to and from is a hero’s journey in itself.
For those of you who arent familiar with introversion, highly sensitive traits, or hyper empathy - we absorb rapid fire wave after wave of all the facial expressions, eye contact, verbal sounds, physical touch, non verbal movements and in my case - all the energy of people and places.
It can be very challenging, overwhelming and exhausting. Here’s how I cope and thrive in these scenarios::
1- I meditate in the Uber on the way to the airport. ALWAYS
2- entering the terminal, I take a few deep breaths and scan everything in my view - I then lock in on my shoes -feel my groundedness and feel how secure my feet are. Then I put on my noise cancelers (I love my Bose headphones and promax AirPods in NOISE CANCEL MODE).
3- then rather than seal myself for protection I DO THE OPPOSITE. I’m not here in this incarnation to live a fear-based existence. The highest vibration always wins. I’m here to vibrate at the highest level not let fear drive my decisions. So I practice a 5-minute metta meditation, breathing in the healing love of the universe right into my heart and flowing it back out to everyone in the airport - EVERYONE- unconditionally no matter what they believe in, who they voted for, or what their ethnicity or culture is.
4- I celebrate my true conduit nature. I’m a hole in the flute thru which the breath of the divine flows. Holes can’t hold grudges and can’t take anything personally. And they can only channel energy not hold onto it.
5- then I’ll crank up a long song by Isley bros or Metallica and let it flow into every cell in my body.
6- go into silence, board the plane - close my eyes & meditate for 20 minutes
7- and I just float for the rest of the flight, deplaning, and back out into the world.
8-try it

Hello. This was a drawing I did while making the short film. It was great to give the fox this line. He had come a long way.

Check out the latest episode of How to Levitate! Ryan's interview about How To Heal From Racial Trauma with NYT bestselling author, Resmaa Menakem.
Hear (or watch!) Ryan's profound and challenging conversation about healing from racial trauma with New York Times bestselling author and therapist Resmaa Menakem. Recorded back in 2020, but still hyper-relevant today. Maybe more so! It's a good un 😅
Show host Ryan Nell interviews New York Times bestselling author, thinker and therapist, Resmaa Menakem, who wants to help us heal from racial trauma. Brilli...
We were intrigued to read a new article in Forbes linking progress in brain-machine interfaces with the potential not just to repair but augment human cognition. Might we with an artificial hippocampus be able to download a new language in milliseconds? Perhaps not as far fetched as it sounds.

We are London’s first community drop-in meditation studio. We exist to bring the tools of meditation and mindfulness to the lives of many. Founded by Ryan Nell in January 2018 with the goal to make meditation and mindfulness accessible to more people, we blend the latest neuroscience with the age old techniques to equip Londoners for the modern world.
Since we started, we've taught over 500 students at our studio in Peckham, we’ve brought workplace mindfulness to over 15 organisations (including running two 8-week mindfulness courses), we’ve also taken part in local festivals, organised pop-up events, and partnered to deliver classes and workshops at the incredible Yogarise Peckham, Yoga House Catford and Yoke Dalston.
In spite of all the uncertainty in the world right now, we are very excited for what the future holds. There has never been a bigger need for mindfulness. Our focus is to build our budding community of meditators, by:
offering more prime time slots to suit your busy schedules
deepening our engagement with existing communities in Peckham
partnering with more organisations to deliver mindfulness in the workplace.
As we start to look ahead to 2020, we hope you can join us for the journey and help us make it our best year yet.
