Our CEO, Dr Kleanthous, spent the past few days at ECR in Vienna, one of the world’s leading gatherings for the radiology and imaging community. The event provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with colleagues, partners, and innovators who are all working toward the same goal: improving patient outcomes through better diagnostics and earlier detection. The energy and exchange of ideas across the conference reinforced just how quickly imaging technologies and screening programmes are evolving.
Beyond the exhibition floor, ECR is always a chance to reflect on the progress being made across the sector and the importance of collaboration in tackling some of healthcare’s biggest challenges. From conversations on the future of screening programmes to discussions around improving access to imaging services, it was inspiring to see so many organisations focused on delivering more patient-centred, accessible care.
One of the highlights was showcasing our collaboration with Philips: a co-developed, state-of-the-art mobile lung cancer screening trailer designed to prioritise patient comfort, diagnostic clarity, and operational efficiency. By bringing low-dose lung cancer screening directly into communities, this initiative helps remove barriers to access and supports earlier detection where it can make the greatest difference. We’re proud to work alongside partners who share our commitment to innovation and improving outcomes for patients.
