This is the third (and final) part of our initial sounds Teaching Tips series... building on the last two sessions and bringing it all together with CVC word building.

The activity: using simple picture cards and letters, children build words like dog, sit and map by sounding them out and putting the letters together.

Same idea…
just progressing it.

Start with the first sound.
Then match letters to the word.
Then mix it up and let them build it independently.

One activity.
Different levels.
Real progress.

And the best part, you can do it yourslefg at home!

A simple way to keep phonics moving forward while working at your childs pace.

Today we’re celebrating World Health Day 🌍💙

At SuperCare, supporting health and wellbeing goes beyond the care we provide every day — it’s something we actively live and breathe as a team.

Across our homes and central offices, our colleagues are stepping up (literally!) by taking part in a step challenge, getting out, staying active, and supporting each other along the way 👟✨

From lunchtime walks to friendly competition between teams, it’s been amazing to see everyone getting involved and prioritising their wellbeing together.

as the young people eagerly await the arrival of the Easter Bunny

They're getting ready to search every corner, every cupboard, every hiding spot they can find around the homes… all in the name of collecting as much chocolate as possible for their easter egg hunt🍫

There will be lots of excited (and sugar fueled) children having a blast in our homes on Sunday

Last week as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations, our wonderful Head of People Hayley Harkins hosted a Stretch & Reset session for the women of SuperCare.

In her spare time, Hayley is also a breathwork and stretch coach

She brought that energy into a session full of mindful moments, relaxation, nervous system resets
… and plenty of laughs too.

It was the perfect reset to end the day

Moments like this matter to us. Taking time to reset, connect, and look after our wellbeing is something we truly value at SuperCare.

A huge thank you to Hayley for leading such a fantastic session, and to all the amazing women who joined.
