I have been teaching yoga for over 30 years, but I don’t often show myself on the mat. Mainly because of my own personal battle with body image and also. Censoring myself, and not being brave enough to be really seen as a black woman teaching yoga quietly to all women, of all ages and back grounds. I have taught them through pregnancy to older vintage yoginis. I want to celebrate us all. Here I am at the yoga retreat in Bali. Still practicing.
