If you are making decisions that affect your role, your team, or your future, and something feels off but you cannot yet prove it, this is for you.

Digital change rarely arrives neatly packaged. Regulation, technology, ethics, workforce readiness, and public trust move at different speeds, but collide at the same moment.

Preparedness begins with understanding how these pressures interact, because without that clarity, even well intentioned decisions can drift off course.

The Digital Polycrisis book examines how technology, governance, ethics, security, and human behaviour interact under pressure. It helps leaders move from noise to signal, between awareness and preparation.

This is a resource for professionals who need to think clearly when multiple digital pressures are happening at once.

We’ve made it to Day 7!

Take a second to give yourself a pat on the back, you’ve officially completed the 7-Day Digital Well-being Refresh.

Think back to last Monday. How much more automatic were your habits then compared to right now?

This week wasn't about being perfect or suddenly never looking at a screen again. It was about noticing those little automatic moments and choosing something better for your peace and growth instead. Whether you felt a big shift or just a tiny spark of awareness, you’ve started a journey that will make a huge difference in how you feel for the rest of the year.

Whether you set one tiny boundary or totally cleared out your inbox clutter, you’ve started the work of making your technology work for you, rather than the other way around.

Making it Stick. Before we log off today, let's turn these reflections into a real promise to yourself. Think about the one specific change that felt the best this week, maybe it was the morning quiet or the tidy home screen.

Now, let's make it official. Take a moment to write down your own commitment statement for how you want to use your technology moving forward. It doesn't have to be long; it just needs to feel true to you and support your emotional well-being.

You’re in Control. Remember, you are the one in charge of your digital experience. You get to choose the balance, the boundaries, and the vibe of your online life every single day.

We’ve loved having you with us this week! Tell us in the comments: What is one habit from this refresh that you are definitely keeping?

We’ve officially hit the weekend!

Does your phone ever feel like that one kitchen junk drawer we all have? You know, the one where you’re sure there’s something useful in there, but you have to dig through five layers of bits and bobs just to find it?

It’s Day 6 of our 7-Day Digital Well-being Refresh, and today is all about the Digital Spring Clean. We often focus on tidying our physical desks or homes to feel more productive, but our digital environment deserves that same bit of love and attention.

Think of your phone’s home screen as your digital living room. Is it a place that feels calm and helpful, or is it a bit of a chaotic mess that leaves you feeling swamped?

Today’s Small Step: We aren't asking you to overhaul your entire digital life today; it's the weekend, after all. Just pick one digital corner to tidy up and organize.

You could:
• Unsubscribe from that one newsletter you always scroll past anyway.
• Mute a group chat that’s a bit too noisy when you’re trying to unwind.
• Rearrange your home screen so the positive, helpful apps are front and centre, while the distracting ones are tucked away.

By clearing out the digital clutter, you’re making room for the things that actually help you grow.

What’s one digital junk drawer you’re tackling today? Your inbox? Your home screen? Your photo library? Let us know your mission in the comments!

Happy Friday! We’ve reached Day 5 of our 7-Day Digital Well-being Refresh, and honestly, the timing couldn't be better.

By the time Friday rolls around, many of us feel like our mental batteries are flashing red. It’s so tempting to finish work and immediately relax by scrolling through social media, but have you ever noticed that you often feel more tired afterward?

Today is about trading passive consumption for active recovery. We’re moving away from the pings and dings to find a bit of quiet space where we can actually hear our own thoughts again.

Today’s Small Step:
Let's go for a mini-detox. Find a block of time today; maybe 60 or 90 minutes, and put your phone completely out of sight. Put it on aeroplane mode, leave it in another room, or tuck it in a drawer.

Use that time to do something purely analogue: go for a walk, cook a meal from scratch, or just sit quietly with your favorite tea. Pay attention to how you feel before you put the phone away, and how much lighter you feel when you pick it back up.

What’s your go-to analogue activity when you need to recharge? Let us know in the comments!

How many "friends" do you have online versus how many people truly know what’s going on with you this week? It’s a bit of a weird reality we live in—being constantly "reachable" while sometimes feeling totally out of touch with the people who matter most.
Who is one person who always makes you feel genuinely "seen"? Give them a shout-out or a tag in the comments below!
We’re on Day 4 of our 7-Day Digital Well-being Refresh, and today we are shifting our focus from the apps on our screens to the humans behind them. Technology is a brilliant tool for staying close, but it can also become a bit of a barrier if we let surface-level interactions replace the real, messy, beautiful stuff.

The Quality Check: Instead of scrolling past another update, take a second to think about your digital circle today:
• The "Heard" Factor: Do you walk away from your DMs feeling like you’ve actually been listened to, or just like you’ve been broadcasting into the void?

• The Balance: Are your virtual chats getting the "prime time" slots in your day while your face-to-face connections get the leftovers?

• The Vibe: Which of your digital spaces actually make you feel supported and understood?

One genuine moment can mean more than a hundred quick replies.

Today’s Small Step:
Let’s trade a "like" for a real moment of connection. Your goal today is to reach out and actually strengthen a bond.

Try one of these:
• Record a quick voice note for a friend—there’s something so much more personal about hearing a voice than reading a text.

• Invite that person you’ve been "meaning to catch up with" to a virtual cuppa.

Send a simple message of gratitude to someone who has been a bright spot in your life lately.

Who is one person that always makes you feel genuinely "seen"? Give them a shout-out or a tag in the comments below!

It’s Day 3 of our 7-Day Digital Well-being Refresh, and we’re talking about a word that can feel a bit tough: boundaries.

Does your phone ever feel like a boss you didn’t actually hire? One minute you’re checking a single notification, and thirty minutes later, you’re deep in a rabbit hole, wondering where the time went. We’ve all been there, where it feels like technology is dictating our schedule rather than the other way around.

Today is about checking in on who is really in the driver's seat. Are you consciously choosing when to engage, or are you constantly reacting to every buzz, ping, and red dot? Reclaiming just a little bit of that space can totally change the energy of your whole day.

Reclaiming our space. Think about your digital habits today:
• Energy Check: Which apps feel like they’re actually adding to your life, and which ones feel like they’re just draining your battery?

• The "Reaction" Test: Did you feel like you were in control of your time today, or were you just bouncing from one notification to the next?

• The Off Switch: Have you ever tried setting a "tech-free" window, like no emails after 7 PM or no scrolling before your feet hit the floor in the morning?

Today’s Small Step: Let's pick one small digital boundary to trial today. It doesn't have to be huge; maybe it's turning off non-essential notifications so you only see what's actually urgent or scheduling a 15-minute "tech-free" break to just breathe or stretch.

What is one digital boundary you’re going to try out today? Let’s share some ideas in the comments to inspire each other!

It’s Day 2 of our 7-Day Digital Well-being Refresh, and today we're shifting our focus from "what" we do to "how" we feel.

Have you ever closed an app and realized you’ve been holding your breath? Or maybe you’ve caught that little voice whispering that you should be doing more, seeing more, or being more because of what you just saw on your screen.

Our digital world is a loud place, and it’s so easy for our "inner chat" to turn into a comparison trap or a source of productivity guilt. Today isn't about the screen time numbers; it’s about the energy you have left when you put the phone down.

Checking the Vibe. Think about your last few digital interactions:

• Did that scroll through your feed leave you feeling inspired or a bit deflated?

• When you checked your emails, did you feel on top of things or immediately behind?

• Did you notice any "hustle guilt" creeping in while looking at someone else's highlights?

The goal today is to catch those heavy thoughts as they happen. Once we notice them, we can start to swap them out for something that actually serves us. It’s about taking back the remote to your own mindset.

Let’s try a "Thought Swap" together. What is one negative digital thought you’re ready to let go of today? Share yours or your new empowering one in the comments below!

Happy Monday!

Ever find yourself holding your phone and realize you don’t even remember why you picked it up in the first place? It happens to most of us that we automatically reach for a screen before we’ve even fully woken up.

Today marks the first day of our 7-Day Digital Well-being Refresh, and we're not jumping straight into strict rules or deleting apps. Instead, we’re starting with something much more powerful: your "Why."

Before we try to change our habits, we have to understand what they look like right now. Think of today as a no-judgment observation day. We're simply noticing those little triggers that make us reach for our devices; is it boredom? Stress? A habit of scrolling while waiting for the kettle to boil?

Today's Small Step:
Take just five minutes today to sit with your notebook or just your thoughts and set one simple intention for the week. It could be as basic as wanting to feel a little more present during your morning coffee or less overwhelmed by notifications by the time you log off.

Setting this up now helps make sure your technology is actually serving you, rather than just taking up your time.

We’d love to hear from you. In one word, how do you want to feel by the end of this week? Let us know in the comments!
