What are the advantages of fat transfer in breast surgery?

One of the greatest advantages is that we use your own living tissue. I can take fat from an area of excess and carefully place it where you would benefit from more volume, creating a result that is soft, natural and proportionate.

Another key benefit is precision. We can focus on specific areas such as the upper pole, projection or side breast, refining shape in a very controlled way. The incisions are tiny, usually just a few millimetres, and the technique is highly targeted.

It can also be performed gradually. If you love the outcome but would like a little more volume, the procedure can be repeated, allowing enhancement to be built over time.

If you’re considering breast enhancement and would like to explore whether fat transfer is right for you, I would be very happy to see you for a consultation.

For me, fat transfer is about working with nature, with biology, not against it. As I always say, fat is the elixir of youth, not only because it creates dramatic fullness and firmness, but because it restores what time, illness or gravity have eroded away, and it does so naturally.

When performed with consideration and care, fat transfer allows you to look like a healthier, more balanced version of yourself. I believe that to be the most successful, most powerful outcome of all.

Do you have to wait until after a mastectomy to have reconstruction?
Not necessarily.

In many cases, breast reconstruction can be performed at the same time as the mastectomy. This is something that is carefully discussed in advance with your surgical and oncology team.

For some patients, immediate reconstruction is suitable. For others, it may be safer or more appropriate to wait, for example if further treatment such as chemotherapy or radiotherapy is needed.

Every case is different, and the right timing depends on your individual situation, your health and your treatment plan.

If you’re navigating this decision, I would love to support you through this, so please feel free to write to me at practice@rozinaali.com 📩

I know that for many people, even booking a consultation comes with a lot of emotion. Uncertainty, nerves, hope, sometimes fear. That’s completely normal.

For me, a consultation is a conversation. You can come with a partner, a friend, your mum, or on your own. We talk. We take time. There’s no pressure to decide anything that day.

We look at your body, your proportions, what you like, what you don’t, and why this matters to you now. Visualisations and options come later. First, it’s about understanding you.

Because before any surgery, there has to be trust, clarity and a shared understanding.

Menopause is one of the most significant transitions in a woman’s life, yet many are still unprepared for the changes it can bring, especially when it comes to the skin.

From dryness and loss of elasticity to a duller skin tone and increased fragility, these changes are not imagined. They are the result of real biological shifts, particularly the decline in estrogen, collagen and hydration levels.

What is often less discussed is the emotional impact. Many women report a loss of confidence and a sense of disconnect from how they look and feel.

In my practice, I encourage a different perspective. Menopause is not something to “fix”, but a natural transition that deserves understanding, support and thoughtful care. With the right approach, it is entirely possible to maintain healthy, resilient skin and feel confident at every stage of life.

Every consultation is incredibly important to me.

It’s the part of the process where we slow everything down. We talk properly. I take time to understand your anatomy and your tissues, your concerns, and what stage of life you’re in. And before we even get into treatments, I always want to understand the “why”, because that usually tells me far more than the “what”.

For me, consultation is one of the most important parts of the journey.

It’s where I take time to understand your anatomy, your biology, your concerns and the stage of life you are in. Before discussing any treatment, we talk about why you want change, what feels right for you and what will truly support your body over time.

We are spending more than ever on beauty and wellness, yet many of us feel more overwhelmed, confused and disconnected from what our skin truly needs.

In my latest article, Shutting Out the Noise: A Back-to-Basics Approach to Timeless Beauty, I reflect on why modern self-care has become so noisy and why returning to fundamentals matters more than chasing trends. Timeless beauty is not built on viral products or miracle promises, but on understanding your skin, respecting biology and investing in consistency, protection and repair.

If you feel tired of being told you need more, faster or stronger, this is an invitation to pause, simplify and refocus on what truly works.

Refinement, not reinvention.

This is the direction aesthetic medicine is moving towards in 2026, and it reflects exactly what I see in my own practice. Patients are seeking natural structure, improved skin quality and regenerative approaches that respect anatomy, biology and individuality.

Regeneration is no longer a finishing touch. It is becoming the foundation, supported by thoughtful surgical precision and considered aftercare.

Patient experience always matters most.

This feedback reflects exactly what I strive for in my work: carefully planned surgery, clear communication and a recovery that feels manageable and supported. Feeling comfortable, confident and well cared for throughout the process is just as important as the final result.

My approach to ageing is grounded in the same principles that guide my surgical practice: respect for anatomy, reverence for biology and a commitment to subtlety.

I have long believed in a “little and often” philosophy, a carefully sequenced, regenerative approach that evolves with the patient over time. Whether treating the face, body or breasts, the principles remain consistent: proportion, function, safety and sincerity.

Today, my practice sits at the intersection of reconstruction, aesthetic surgery and regenerative medicine, a space I describe as Luxury Wellness. Not because it is indulgent, but because feeling at home in your own skin is one of life’s greatest luxuries.

If you’d like to read more about the philosophy behind my work, you can find the full article here:
